pinup + pin2dmd problem

I want my pin2dmd working with popper, got it set up and working, but i alway have to start a table in VPX to initialize the pin2dmd before i start popper, otherwise it will not show the DMD on my Pin2dmd (seems like the hardware driver is not loaded or something)

hope someone can help me out here with this problem.

it could be windows is starting popper too quickly on bootup and usb/pin2dmd is not ‘up’ yet.

try reboot and wait 30 seconds and then run popper…if that works then just add a small timeout before launching popper on startup batch.

if thats not the case.  you could ‘hack’ it by maybe running dmdext and close dmdext before popper launch.

nope that is not the issue, dmdext is also not working, until i startup and run a table in VPX
