      Hi all,

I’m currently trying to setup my new cab using a KL25Z (programmed using pinscape software) and the pinup system.  I have only connected the flipper buttons, and they are working correctly when I play a table.

But for some reason, I can not program then in the pinup config. to select next/previous menu items.   I can set the keys using the keyboard, but no luck setting the joystick buttons.

Any suggestions on where I can look to debug or fix?

      Thanks!

Make sure you have DINPUT selected as your controller type….assuming you are using the KL25Z as a gamepad?

          Hi Terry,

Ok I updated to the latest 1.3.4,  but I don’t see where to check that I have DINPUT  selected as a controller type.  I assume it’s a setting in pinup somewhere.

Thanks for replying so quickly!  Your help is greatly appreciated.

          Richard. :good:

Ok found it.  Tried both settings,  still no joy.

Anything else I can look at?

pinscape works fine for almost everyone.

one person said they had to set the keys instead of joy buttons in pinscape software to work.

                another person said this:

I found my problem. My Pinscape was set as a secondary LEDWiz instead of a Pinscape device in the Pinscape software. Setting it to Pinscape gave me the ability to configure my buttons in PinUp. It also made my actual LEDWiz run better, go figure. I’m surprised that it has worked at all in the last year or so since I built my table. Thanks for the help guys.

                  Hi Nailbuster,

That was it,  setting the kl25z to PinscapeID fixed the issue,  I can now program the flipper buttons, and they are working for the Menus. :yahoo:   Now on to getting all the other stuff working… :)

BTW,  your pinup system is impressive,   thank you for creating it.  And to Terry for his videos, which motivated me to build my cab in the first place.

                  Richard.
