PuP Defaults not being recognized

Good day!

I may be misunderstanding the intent of this.  In my PinUPSystem\POPMedia\Default\System I’ve, among others, pup_default_dmd.mp4, pup_default_topper.mp4, etc.  However the system doesn’t seem to recognize them as being default.  If I have a playlist that doesn’t specifically have it’s own DMD or whatever, my assumption was that it would display the defaults above.  But that doesn’t seem to be the case.  Instead, it’s just blank.  Now, if I go ahead and specifically assign an image to a specific playlist item, it works fine.  But I didn’t think that was necessary.  And, well, it’s no fun to assign everything for, say, all 26 letters of the alphabet.

Please let me know where I’ve gone wrong.

defaults are located inside each emulators popmedia folder.
