RGB LED strip as flashers?

Looking for a low-key way to add some flasher action. Complete newb regarding these addressable led strips but could they act as flashers?

Say I had a strip with 21 LEDs on it. Could I do this..

First 3 leds – strobe

next 3 – flasher 1

next 3 – flasher 2

next 3 – flasher 3

next 3 -flasher 4

next 3 – flasher 5

last 3 – strobe

Addressable Leds already emulate the 5 RGB Flashers, Strobe, and Beacon….all on the Back Matrix. You can have a single strip for the left side MX, back MX, and right MX side….or your Back MX can have multiple rows to make a low-res screen. DOF will scale all the effects to whatever setup you have.
