For those of you with more friends than I have, I did a quick conversion of my Card Whiz into the 4 player Royal Flush. The table is identical, just changed the backdrop, put the score reels back in view (my base template is 4 player so scripted Card Whiz with this in mind) and built a new directb2s to go with it from images found online.

Anything that requires perfect timing, like fighting games, etc… never seems to work well with online multiplay. I wish that it did though… competitive pinball online would be awesome. I guess you wouldn’t even really need to be playing at the same time, you could just upload scores or something… have global leaderboards.

hmm, I think just have recording by ball so you could play your turn, then it would “play” a ball by your opponent (recording or stream of their play), then your turn again, etc. would need dof feeds recorded as well so it would do all the fun stuff on your cab while playing back their play. Oh, and holograms both ways so you could be in the room together.

I have never used one, everyone’s for the most part is based on how they like it. The way I set mine up is, in 10.6, set the xy scale so x is 1.0. Then I change the inclination so the side rails are parallel to my screen. Set the layback so that I can see the proper amount of flipper and posts under the kicker. That will change based on height of the person. Then I set the x by adjusting the z offset so it fits in the screen perfectly and then adjust the y scale which ends up around 1.2 for a normal table. Once you do it a few times it’s easy and you can make it exactly how you like it. The only difference is tables that are deeper than most, you have to show the back wall.
