Hello all.
I was just wondering if others had the same issue.
In my cab i run a 8 12v car solenoid, 2 24v siemans contactor setup. Â Right away I noticed that the solenoids hit way harder then the Siemans contactors even while bridged across the cab. Â The flipper contactors are even on the cab side walls.
I have had 2 solenoids go out already and am concidering replacing them with the siemans contactors for reliability reasons.
Is there anyway to make the contactors hit alittle harder like the solenoids? Â And does anyone have a video of their contactors doing work? Id like to hear how the contactors sound while in a 3 bumper situation.
Thanks for the reply

Right on
Do you you think you get a better feedback from the sidewall or the floor? Im guessing the sidewall but ya never know. Plus I may not have enough real estate to place them on the cab floor.

May 23, 2019 at 12:37 pm #129202side works great for flippers, slings and middle bumpers but i just put the backs on the bottom and i think separation is just as important as if they are just on crossbars. you need sounds coming from all different places and you can tell the difference for sure crossbars may work good to just not how i did it.
