Speaker LED’s – RGB or Addressable

Looking to add LED’s to my backbox speakers and am wondering what everyone is using… RGB or Addressable? I like the idea of addressable however I’m not seeing any specific configs in DOF for speaker lights. From what I’ve read, those using addressable LED’s configure them as flashers/strobes. Is there an advantage to either? Personal preference? Plans for addressable speaker LED’s in DOF in the works? Thanks!
