Where and What to Buy: Buttons and Plunger

Hello,

Forgive me if this isn’t the right place to post this.

I’m just starting out with virtual pinball.  I have VPX up and running with a few tables just to get the feel of things.  It is a very basic setup of a PC with a landscape 43″ 4k monitor and another monitor for the backglass.  I think the next step for me is to get some buttons and perhaps a plunger working.  I’m thinking about going the pinscape route for this and understand that I’ll need to purchase a controller board for this (a KL25z controller board).

My question is… where do I buy the buttons and the plunger?  Anything in particular I should be looking for before I purchase?  I’m located in the US.

Standard arcade buttons(ROUND) are fine for credit, start and buy in buttons but you will want Leaf switches for flipper and magnasave buttons. You can get them from piballlife.com

The Plunger you can get from Zebsboards i think he still offers it? Zeb has great support too!

DO NOT purchase plunger from virtuapin its been proven to be very problematic to say the least and support is not good.

Sure the square buttons don’t belong on a pinball machine so throw those on a slot machine or in the garbage. The rest is fine.

Point taken :)  I’ll pick up the set for the convenience of the all in one package and use them in a prototype setting (cardboard or wooden box) and then swap the square buttons out for more authentic buttons when I actually do the cabinet build.
