this is a strip and rebuild of  Mfuegemanns VP9 version.

I asked for permission to release it and he told me that he never released a VPX vresion because

I had some problems with the holes in VPX. The staged balls were too often running “through” the first ball.

because of this the table is being released as version 0.9 and will be updated to 1.0 as the bugs are worked out.

      note that

IF!!!!  you cannot get the table to start make sure you add the included snspares.nv to yor nvram folder in your PINMAME folder.

their are other available nv files in the support topic for the FS table

feel free to read through if you need to

Nice! Such a unique game. Got to play Chicago Coin Bowling League at Blairalley in Eugene, Oregon earlier this week, so your timing here is perfect. Thanks!

Does anybody know how to use adjustment settings? When I press 7 key I can enter adjustments but the 1st thing that pops up is regulation game 200 and using flipper buttons goes up and down for the score, but when I press 1 to save nothing happens.

VPX lights can’t light up a black images,  the PF image needs to be updated with a red light insert

this DMD will not work with Freezys dll because its trying to fit 2 DMD screens into 1 Freezy dll screen.

I’m sure you noticed in the left of the screen the numbers flickering from Player 3 and 4 (screen 2)  to Player 1 and 2 (screen 1).

@callev : You could make a custom entry for this table in dmddevice.ini

                                [ROM_NAME_HERE]
                                pindmd3 enabled = false
                                virtualdmd enabled = true
                                virtualdmd stayontop = true
                                virtualdmd ignorear = true
                                virtualdmd dotsize = 0.8
                                virtualdmd left = 4000
                                virtualdmd top = 600
                                virtualdmd width = 800
                                virtualdmd height = 240

                                Uh. Maybe not

Leaving the code though – might come in handy for others.

the Gottlieb with freezy issues have been there even since the freezy dll came along…
for now I would say just use VPM on all Gottlieb dmd tables…

Thought I read that DJRobX posted a fix for freezy DLL, gottlieb DMD flickering issues in one of the new sambuild3.1 beta revisions. Don’t know if it applies to this table since it uses 2 DMD screens.

Gottlieb problems have been solved,  but this is a unique situation

the table has two unique DMD screens

                                        http://endlesspinball.com/list-new-inventory-pinball-machines-sale/strikes-n-spares/

Freezys dll is positioning one screen on top of the other one.  this is why the screen flickers as both screen are trying to write over each other.
