that POS editor is a real pain in the ass…. PLEASE PLEASE we have the smartest of the smart in this community…. someone update this archaic silliness

Better still, include multi-monitor support in VPX. Then we’d have truly beautiful backglasses like @arconovum. Westworld was the one looking into db2s. He’s been quiet for a while but he is still visiting VPU.

Hi @all,
can anyone tell me, where to download the latest Version of the Backglass designer? I am still using version 1.2.
Through google, I found the Sourceforge projekt Page, but no files to download from there.
Can anyone help me with a link? Latest version is supposed to be uploaded in February

on vpf and vpu I found the version 1.2. Seems to be the latest version. Thougt, there was an update, because version 1.2 is from 2013 an there where some features, that should have been implemented in future versions.
Am I right to say, the development of the designer is stopped and it will not be improved in future?

But ther ist no exe to download, and I can not compile the project files

I don’t think the designer has been updated since then? Just the player optimized but I could not say for sure

there are no real updates…. Herweh has been around. I talked to him awhile ago and he is building his new cab he said if he has time he might want to update the program
but i not holding my breath.. but i hope he does give it some time cause its the best backglass program ever made IMO… just need some TLC

Was looking for this again and found it. AFAIK this is the latest version of B2S Designer and it is not in the usual download locations. Just a bugfix that allows import of an empty LED image. But it is an update from V1.2.

That version of the B2S Designer seems to have a problem with generating a directb2s file if there are LED frames on the DMD (3rd) screen.
Reverted to 1.2 and no such issue with the same exact project file.You need to login in order to like this post: click here
