I just sent bodydump a PM asking to use his resources for Car Hop and Bad girls
but I”m having issues with the code
Car Hop
I can only start the game if I map a key directly to keyboard key “1”
If keycode = 2 then Controller.Switch(3) = 1 End if
the plunger does not work at all
Bad Girls
the plunger works but it starts the Game,
their is a high probability that I have a bad VP install can someone test them (see if you can spot a screw up in my code)

I don’t know if the scripts have been updated or its a screw up in my part, because I downloaded the VP8 and VP9 versions and I’m having the same problem.
I’m also waiting to here from bodydump because I asked him if I could release a rebuilt version of his beta table Hot Doggin

I just tried the VP9 DT version of Car Hop and the 1 key starts game for me. Your VPX Car Hop does not.
So just to let you know the VP9 version does work, for me at least.
So you possibly have a bad install if the VP9 version does the same for you.
Also to let you know…I am using.. VPX_5_beta_rev3352 for this test.

I can only start the game if I use the VP8 code that maps the start button directly to the “1” key regardless of what VP exe I use VP8, 9 or my VPX code rebuild on the latest 10.5 beta exe
I would just keep the working version but their are allot of people that for one reason or another don’t like to use the default keys.

I just download my Gold Wings table and I seem to have the same problem, all my Gottlieb tables start with the plunger key

May 12, 2018 at 5:22 pm #84533It seems like the line If vpmKeyDown(KeyCode) Then Exit Sub is making it exit the sub before it gets to the lines for startgame or plunger. something weird on system3 machines maybe? I do notice that rothbauerw’s Tee’d Off system3 has the If vpmKeyDown(KeyCode) Then Exit Sub line is after the keycodes for start, flippers, plunger etc

I need the light IDs for the backwall and the drop target GI lights under the plastics everything else seems to be set wtih Car Hop

I”m hoping for better quality resources
from the manual I found out that two lamp IDs control the sequential blinking lights.
I was able to do a generic code using the blink pattern in built into the lights.
hoping someone can do a better job then what I did. Hopefully a code that maps the lights to a generic lamp ID so that I could use Jps fading light script.
because I was not able to connect the blinking lights tot he backwall Flashers.
