    This is a VP9 to VPX conversion of jpsalas's great version of a 1992 Premier Cue Ball Wizard. Many thanks to jpsalas for his version of this table. It was a very nice table to convert... very clean. Thank you for the suggestion to make the ball larger too. It really made a difference. It needs the rom file "cueball.zip" to run. Don't ask me for the rom, you're on your own there,

    As soon as i want to start the table i get error on line 253

    Plungers(AnPlOldPos).visible = 0

    I am on latest VPX 10.6 beta
    latest vpinmame beta

    all other tables work like they should ;)

    Opps, sorry about that. That is part of the old plunger system that JP had in this table. It becomes active only if you have a analog plunger. You can either comment out all the lines from 243 to 259 or I will be uploading a fixed version in a minute. Thanks for letting me know.

    Did you extract all the script files that came with vpx6 beta? The controller.vbs file pretty much controls it all now. Other then that, I don’t know.

    Thank you for converting one of the most nostalgic tables (for me). Who could ever tire of hearing “Quit talking and start chalking” from the semi-Clint Eastwood sounding and looking BG. Nice job!

    I added 32assassin’s mod wip and his resources. He did a ton of work to the table and it looks totally fantastic. You guys should really download it and check it out. Thank you, 32assassin!  :good:

    A great table, but i have a little problem:

    When i get the extraball, the tilt warning flash on the DMD and after the tilt is on and i lose the ball?

    Do you know why?

    Hey. if you saw this VBscript error:

    Machine ‘cueball’ (Cue Ball Wizard) terminated before initialized. check the rom path or rom file!

    that mean, you did not put exact cueball.zip rom file. Perhaps you may have other version of it such as cueball2.zip or cueball3.zip . to solve this, simply find cueball.zip file somewhere again and put it in the rom of PinMAME.

    OR… if you had that later version of Cue Ball Wizard rom (let’s say cueball3.zip), you can change the rom it should refer to.

    • Assuming you did not yet opened this Cue Ball Wizard on the editor. if you had please close this window because we are going to mod this table little bit.
    • Click once this vpx file.
    • Control + C to copy
    • Control + V to paste here.
    • rename it different. such as “Cue Ball Wizard, Perkedel Mod cueball 3 fix” something like that.
    • Right click the vpx and select edit.
    • or if you don’t have that context menu, try open Visual Pinball manually, file, open the table. Or assign the file association.
    • Click script

    Okay. Calm down! it’s not going to be hard. Relax. this is very easy!

    • Control + F to open Find window
    • type cueball and click Next

    There it is! cueball word is on some line 19 or so that look’s like

    Const cGameName=”cueball”

    take a look at “cueball” string. append number 3 since you have cueball3.zip (or 2 for cueball2.zip) so now it should look’s like

    Const cGameName=”cueball3″

    Now…

    • Control + S to save
    • and.. test play it.
    • it works! no terminate!!

    sometimes the rom may glitch such as late to recognize its own table body, coin not recognized, something-something.

    Try to restart Visual Pinball X couple times, reopen it again from double click file.

    and that should to be otherwise, working.

    enjoy.
