I have an idea about the flippers.
On real EM tables (at least those i have tried) the flippers hum when held active.
That could be simulated in vp/dof perhaps?First a normal pulse to engage the flipper solenoid, then a lower pwm signal for hold.. ??
Am i right or completely wrong?
PS i haven’t tried pulsing my solenoids yet, i just came up with the idea. Have to try it later

May 20, 2016 at 10:13 am #23073I am at the cab now and testing ledwiz pulse out. It works great at about 30-48 setting, and now when i think about it, there is no need to actually code anything into the tables. It could be done by the dofconfig tool. We just need an intensity setting for regular solenoids there. Just like the droptarget and target setting.
Then individual settings could be set for each EM table in the config.
Now i run the cheap yellow solenoids, and not contactors. But it should work with that too.
There is no more stressing with this than a real pinball.
