It seems like its the “RampBoost” which causes the issue. If I delete it from the table (and comment out any script reference), the ball never jams, but the moment I put “RampBoost” back, the ball will sometimes jam right where the “RampBoost” is located (quite often, cannot finished a complete game without the ball getting stuck). If a vary where the “RampBoost” is on the ramp, the ball gets stcuk exactly where it is located.

Can’t explain why it happens a lot on my system and not on others, but there you go.. computers eh? :D

I am having the exact same issue as Friffy1 was having.  I have the Halloween PinEvent table working.  I am unsure how to disable the backglass to see if that is it or what is met with the solution provided:

“Did you try disabling PUP Stream?

You can’t Stream from pup displays that are shown on a monitor / dummy plug monitor that is connected to a motherboard / usb based gpu. It can cause a crash.”

          How do I do this?

Disabling PUPStream is done on the PinEvent_Settings.vbs for every profile / mode you are using. It’s disabled by default, unless you enabled it in PinEvent_Settings.vbs or you enabled custom settings in the table script and enabled it there.

I am using all of the default settings.  I am running a 3 screen setup with the DMD being a third monitor.  I selected option 2 in pupvideos (also reinstalled trying option 1 to see if it changes anything).  I started the table using F9 and it is crashing when PupPlugin Starts.  The PinUp player works for all my VPX tables and the PinEvent halloween table works.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Don’t assume your problem is pup related. Follow the FAQ procedure to narrow things down… even if another table is working. You want to be sure the table itself is working with DOF and PUP disabled. If it does, then enable one at a time, etc. Use F9 debugger to launch and see what it tells you, etc.

I can get the table to work without the PUP pack.  I am assuming you wanted me to edit the table script.  When I set: usePUP_Stream_Backglass=false the table plays without the added features.  Turning this to true causes a crash.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Some people can’t use PUPStream on their setup. The reasons usually are:

                    • they are streaming from a pup display (such as the pup BG or FullDMD) shown on a monitor connected to onboard GPU / Intel / 2nd Video Card / USB Video Card. This causes a crash. Its a Windows issue that I can’t resolve.
                    • their pup BG or FullDMD is displayed on a monitor using Portrait orientation, which results in the pup stream crashing or only showing black

If you don’t have any of the above, and enabling PUP Stream causes a crash… then I suggest you disable PUP Stream completely (for all Profiles, or if using Custom Settings in the table script) and see if the pup-pack works.

No updates to the table or PuP-Pack… just sad that I feel the need to add this to the download:

Disclaimer and Terms of Usage of PinEvent:

I have made PinEvent and my PinEvent tables so they can be shared and enjoyed by the entire virtual pinball community.

I have created the PinEvent vbs files / code and all my PinEvent tables / mods in a way so they will work in ALL setups. This includes desktop, vr, and ALL cabinet setups which will include 3 screen / 2 screen / real DMD, etc.

There is no need or reason to edit or mod any PinEvent table (except for custom PinEvent settings), or a need to edit the pup-packs in order to get them to work on ANY setup and have them work as intended by myself and the “correct” way.

I have no problem with anyone changing or modding my tables / pup-packs for “personal” use.

I DO NOT authorize anyone to distribute any of my PinEvent tables / mods / pup-packs or the PinEvent vbs files or code, or distribute any mod of such, for any reason on any site / group / share of any sort, unless I have given permission to do so.

You can use portions of PinEvent code (in relation to adding DOF and PUP working) on your own FP table in the table script… but do not use the PinEvent specific code on any table.

Please do not use the name PinEvent in reference to any other table or code, or in relation to adding DOF or PUP to a FP table.

If you have downloaded anything to do with PinEvent from another site or location that I have not posted myself… or are using a modded version, then you are not using proper PinEvent tables / software / pup-packs.

I will NOT give support to anything except for the PinEvent vbs files / tables / pup-packs I myself have posted on this site.

PinEvent represents my own personal work and standard that I have worked very hard to create… and also “support”.

All I ask is that you get it from the source where I have posted it. Doing so will ensure it will always work as intended with any updates to PinEvent or the tables / pup-packs I create (which are often)… as well as any changes I have made to ensure compatibility with new updates / features from BAM.

If you do download and play a PinEvent table from here… PLEASE give feedback on THIS site’s forum… and even better post videos of it in your cabinet. It’s the only way I can ever know if people enjoy what I create… or if I need to make any fixes.

                      Thank you.
