Is there a list of VPX (or FP or…) tables that support SSF?

My attempts to find something like that via Google haven’t been successful.

Most newer tables have ssf and for the ones that dont you can use the scripts from Thalamus that have ssf added to them.

Ok sweet. So I don’t really have to worry about SSF support if I build that into my table?

That would explain why there’s no list.

Just grab the whole package of scripts. Take the script you would like to use. It should be named exactly as the table. Place the script in the table directory and the table will use that script.

To answer from the FP side…

Only 4 tables currently have proper SSF support. By proper I mean… 4 channels for SSF, and 3d ball rolling…the whole thing.

There is Tron Legacy Stern Ultimate. Needs doflinx and pup installed. Honestly, even though this table has some of the coolest MX Leds I have done for a table….stuff you wont see on any VPX table….  I would just stick with the gorgeous VPX G5K version for now.

3 are my wip PinEvent modded tables:

              https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/pinevent-dof-pup-and-pup-ssf-for-fp-without-doflix-testing-needed/

              RetroFlair – BAM Edition

              Halloween Ultimate Pro

Jaws Ultimate Pro (soon the be released).

It takes time to add SSF as these tables tend to have up to 100 SSF items alone to add support for.

To answer the next question… yes more FP tables are coming with PinEvent support… but updating tables to modern BAM standards…adding DOF, MX Leds, SSF, PuP, PUPDMD to tables takes a good amount of time…but the results are so worth it.

@terryred, I would really love to try out future pinball tables, mostly for the ones that aren’t in vpx, but I have tried multiple times and frankly I find it even more confusing than Vpx.  I am pretty lucky that I am mostly over that learning curve.  I used to be able to play them before the whole doflinx stuff.  I really want to try out the Star Wars table

Just start here and follow my guide.

                  https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/how-future-pinball-should-be-setup-for-bam-doflinx-and-pinball-x/

I would hold off on DOFLinx for now as those will be mostly older tables that aren’t updated to modern BAM standards (that looks and plays much better).

Get the new tables from SLAM’s site:

                  https://speak1970.wixsite.com/slamspinballemporium

                  and my PinEvent modded tables:

                  https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/pinevent-dof-pup-and-pup-ssf-for-fp-without-doflix-testing-needed/

and my update to Star Wars DSA U-Pro:

                  https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/star-wars-dsa-ultimate-pro-terryred-lightsaber-mod-let-it-glow-let-it-glow/

Get those up and running following my guide. Be sure to use my BAM default.cfg file I posted there so you will get a good POV and decent settings from the get go.

Pinevent has everything you could want in FP that you would get from VPX (DOF, PUP, SSF, PUPDMD,etc) without needing DOFLinx.

The videos in my guide can be helpful too…just dont replace the FP.exe with a modded one, as its no longer needed with newest BAM. There have been MANY new features in BAM since I made those videos, that take care of many things like hiding HUD items, hiding FP logo on the PF, and many more new customizing features and control over lighting, post processing, etc.

Your the man.   I have a few days off and I’m gonna give it another shot.  I really love the look of that Star Wars table.  Thanks bro
