Hey Guys, I have been playing VP since VP8 when I was in university. I have played each version since, as well as FP. I have really enjoyed the products of all your hard work, and I am amazed at the quality of the re-productions that come out of the community.
I have always wanted to delve into table creation / re-creation, but I don’t know where to start? What table or sort of table would you recommend for a first time builder? Is it recommended that I should build just a basic table and then move on to modeling an actual table?
Anyway, thanks for the all the great work you guys do and any help is appreciated.

August 11, 2018 at 11:19 pm #95266I am just looking to learn, I mean I have tables in mind that I would like to make, but that is a ways off. After posting this, I thought I would just try to make a simple functioning original table just to get some experience. But I just didn’t know where to start.

August 11, 2018 at 11:57 pm #95267Pick apart the vp default table or any table. Look at command reference.txt file included with vp that’s where I would start.

August 12, 2018 at 1:54 pm #95323I started by modifying existing tables. Fixing bugs or playing with physics. There is a ton to learn and using an existing table makes the task much less daunting.
Current Project: Perpetual updates of VPX physics.
