Having a similar problem. When I launch fx2 for popper, it will not shut down when coming out of it. Appears not to be a problem with fx3…Thanks!

December 27, 2020 at 4:44 pm #217060Hi Nailbuster,
Had it all working on before i formatted my Win 10 machine with Enterprise Version.
Set it back up and i can load all of the Pinball FX 3 tables and the SEND exe works and skips the annoying Continue Screen (non steam version) but it does not let me go back to popper menu unless i wait approx 35-40 seconds and then press the exit key. I have changed the exit emulators key to ‘h’ as i was previously using escape key.
Any Idea how i can sort this as can find no info of anyone else having this issue?
Thanks for great app!
Version 1.4.5
Here’s my opening script:
@echo off
rem remove rem to setup your DMDEXT press “open examples for more info”
rem cd “C:\Visual Pinball\VPinMAME”rem start /min “” “dmdext.exe” mirror –source=Pinball FX3 -q -d auto –virtual-hide-grip –virtual-position=x y w -o PinUP\[GAMENAME]
START “” “[STARTDIR]Launch\VPXSTARTER.exe” 5 5 60 “Pinba llFX3”
cd “[DIREMU]”
START “” “Pinball FX3.exe” -applaunch 442120 -table_[GAMENAME]timeout 15
START /min “” “[STARTDIR]Launch\SendFXNewGame.exe”—————————————
Here’s my Closing Script
“[STARTDIR]LAUNCH\PUPCLOSER.EXE” WINTIT “Pinball FX3” 4 1
rem Remove “rem” on the next line to close DMDExt after exiting a table.
rem taskkill /f /im “dmdext.exe”————-
I have also tried 10 1 instead of 4 1
EDIT SEEMS TO BE WORKING NOW!! Very Strange!

December 30, 2020 at 11:00 am #217427Hi today i solved this problem with the Borderless option.
Thanks for sharing the info.
But now i have, sometimes, problems with pupplayer that doesn’t close when i exit a PUPPack table( aliens, MonsterB and Doom). I don’t have any program running with Admin option.
Anyone had the same problem? Any solution?
Thanks in advance

February 28, 2021 at 6:58 am #226582Had exactly the same , on exit of fx3 table returning to popper all the screen would disappear but leave the t-arc loading wheels. Changing fx3 into borderless instantly fixes problem.
