Very good version of this great table.

I frequently got .net framework error messages:

System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string (single quote single quote)

Does anyone else get these to? I can click continue, but a few minutes later it returns.

Windows version
What version of .net framework are you on?  —  If windows 10 you should be good
Are you using 10.6? – May need to be a newer version

I’m using windows 8, i will check if the .net version is outdated

The VPX version is use is 10.6.0 rev 3751 32 bit.

If i have more info or better i solved the issue, i write it here.

Extra info: whooops i have 1,2 GB of updates pending. Forgot that when i finished the build (couple of years ago) i unchecked the auto update function. I hope this will be the solution. Then i can continue with refine the cabinet. It’s been a while when i checked the tables and stuff. (nice vacation  occupation)

Ok, after updating VPinmame (the sambuild you reffered at) the .net errors still occur.

But when i choose for quit instead of continue, the backglass dissapear but the playfield and dmd are still working.
After that the error does not appear and the game is playable. So i think there is someting wrong with the
backglass i’m using in combination with this version of the table. I use the same backglass as in the ‘original’ vpx table.

Can you tell me which version you guys use?
I can search for a newer version of the backglass server.

EDIT: I’ve donwloaded The Walking Dead – Premium (Stern 2014) Deluxe Backglass Set 1.0.0 backglass from vpuniverse and the problem seems to be solved.
Thank god :) Now i can focus on the problem with the new addams family table, where i can’t get DOF working

I’m betting the backglass that was erroring out was being Blocked by Windows. Basically, it can run, but Windows will basically not let it do something – something that isn’t fatal to have blocked in this case, but causes it to repeatedly throw errors until you allow Windows to close it out.

If the table has a crossbow – then you need to use a LE rom.

That is the LE table so you would require the LE rom.  The LE rom is Twd_160h or Twd_156h

Hi there,
I’m really sad. I can’t play on THE WALKING DEAD table. I have a rom problem. The DMD is laggy during a game.
I tried :
TWD_156h , TWD_160 , TWD_160h and there is the same issue.
I tried to download the original code on stern website, and zipped it. DMD is laggy too.
I tried the 3 muted roms available with the puppack on vpinball, and same issue.
The rom/dmd is laggy. Really laggy. It’s unplayable.
All the guy I asked have the same issue, but no one have a solution.

i have issue only with these roms. All my others 150 tables are working fine.
I use the default 4 colors rom, not a colored rom.
I’m on vpx 10.6 and sambuilds 3.3
LCD screen for dmd.

Help me please ! i really love this table, Siggi mod is really nice.
But unplayable.
