Snag – Pressing tab on input boxes doesn’t cycle to the next input as you would expect
Where – PinupMenuSetup
Setup – Win7 64bit
Version – 1.3.0
Steps to reproduce –
* Go to Game Manager
* Go to All Games tab
* Select any game
* Click on Screen Name input
* PRess Tab
* Notice that the next input to gain focus is Game FileName (3rd field), not Game Emulator (2nd field)
* Press Tab
* Notice that the next input to gain focus is the Date (5th field), not Media Search (2rd field).
* Pressing Tab cycles round in an unexpected order (possibly order the inputs were added).You need to login in order to like this post: click here
Snag – Scroll bars don’t refresh the table view
Where – PinupMenuSetup
Setup – Win7 64bit
Version – 1.3.0
Steps to reproduce –
* Go to a table view (Game Manager, All Games tab is a good one)
* Manually scrolling the table by clicking on the scroll bar and dragging
* Notice that the table view doesn’t refresh as you drag the scroll bar
* Releasing the input on the scrollbar then refreshes the table viewIssue – This makes it hard to judge how far to scroll as it doesn’t refresh.

Just joined the Facebook group and scrolled down and saw some people asking similar questions. So I *think* the answers are…
1 – VLC can play .swf files alright so Flash instruction cards should work (someone said they had them showing on the backglass fine).
2 – No, mutliple page flyers/instructions aren’t supported yet. One solution is to make a video of the flyers cycling a page at a time. Personally, I can’t be bothered with tha tjust for a flyer! So showing 1 page is good enough for me for now.You need to login in order to like this post: click here
Oh, just to clarify, I’m just talking about the menu system.
My PinDMDv3 is working fine with 1.6 and the Pinup Player works fine with the tables I’ve got that use it (TRON, Stranger Things etc)

Cheers Scottywic. The 1.3 beta fixed it and the text no longer overlaps at all!
I’m sticking with this for now as I’m gonna put some time aside in the future to switch over to the new Pinup System

Hey
So I finally managed to get the videos onto my cabinet, and the tables amazing! Everything is really working well together.
For info, i’m still on VPX 10.4 and I had PinUP player installed before this new Pinup and Popper installer, i’ve upgraded Pinup Player to the “latest” for the standalone before venturing into switching it out for the new Pinpup system.
I am seeing one issue though on my cabinet and don’t know if anyone else is seeing the same. The text that displays in the center of the Backglass is only ever on 1 line with multiple lines rendering over the top of each other (for example, the Launch Ball text is over the top of …i think…’Ball 2′ or something like that).
Any ideas? Is this a bug fixed in the new Pinup system?

I’m still having issues trying to download the videos files. I type in the password (friendsdontlie) and it says “Correct”, click to download and it just goes back to InvalidSession URL and asks me to reinput the password. This loops forever
If I tick “remember password” then it doesn’t ask me to reinput the password, but everytime I click to download I just get the green “Password Correct” popup and nothing happens.
Anyone able to host them somewhere else?

@TerryRed – Does this mean this table needs the 10.5 beta? Or are people running it fine on 10.4 latest (with fast flips copied over)?
Also, I too have been having issues downloading the video assets. I was getting the same endless loop of asking for password, having it say it “succeeded” but redirecting me to InvalidSession in the URL and repeating the loop again and again.
Gonna try again tonight, wondering if its just the hosting service struggling to keep up with lots of requests.

Ok, so I get this issue intermidently and I think its a “focus” issue.
If the PUP display delays in loading and doesn’t appear until a few seconds after FX3 has already loaded the table, then all my screens “flicker” to refresh and the DMD from FX3 ends up in the foreground.
So, although PUP is correctly focusing itself to get it in front of the FX3 default image on the backglass, this seems to messup my playfield view as it brings the FX3 DMD in front of the playfield…
Anyone else seen similar issues? TerryRed is this something similar to the Focus issues you mention could be in FX2?
EDIT – Ok. So more troubleshooting and I might have “solved” my issue. So I had Topper videos still enabled by accident on ALIENS. I don’t have a topper so i’ve turned that off, and now 6 launches of the table in a row and all loaded fine with no DMD overlapping playfield issues.
So I *think* the issue was, because I left the topper videos on by mistake, the default video position in PUP is the top left of the main screen…my playfield. So the backglass loads and focuses fine, but the Topper focusing in front of the playfield was sometimes bringing the FX3 DMD window to the front. That make sense?
I *think* I’m all sorted now but will let you know if I see issues happening again. My setup does flicker a bit when loading from FX3 loading screen -> Table and assume its the Pup focusing to ensure its videos are in the foreground?
FYI – this is all Windows 7, 2 screen setup with a PinDMDv3

Ok, no idea what was going on but I just relaunched (after changing nothing) and it worked fine!
Gonna put it down to PinballFX3 being buggy because cabinet mode has seemed flakey since the last update they did, for a while all my tables would always be in Landscape instead of portrait and all the cabinet settings were resetting. So lets blame Zen for this one!
Videos looking ace, all working seemlessly (apart from me being one of “those” who put DMDext somewhere else :P )

Ok figured it out, it was the fact PinUp installed DMDext in a different location. So i’ve fixed it now and the videos appear….but now the DMD from pinballFX3 is being rendered over the top of the game. Not sure why thats changed…VirtualDMD is off in the DMD ext config (the one PinUp is using).

Not sure what issue i’m having, but I have DMD 1.6 and when I run normally, the DMD displays on my PinDMDv3 perfectly fine.
However, when I add “-o PinUp\[TABLEFILE]” to the end, when I launch via PinballX I get no DMD displaying to the PinDMDv3 anymore (assume something crashes?)
My DMDext command is slightly different but I have…
mirror –source=pinballfx3 –no-virtual -q –fps 60 -o PinUP\[TABLEFILE]

Thanks for the info 32assassin, that’s exactly the sort of thing I was looking for.
I really don’t care what the table is, just a good example of a basic SS table and simple ROM to begin with. Sounds like a good starting place!

Yeah i’m not a huge fan of the square buttons either. Will eventually be replaced I’m sure.
No idea what version of the table that is, since then I’ve redownloaded and replaced so many table files. I know for a fact I’ve been through so many version of that table too. Think I currently have the version from the Italian site of the same name. Might redownload the one from here though and give it another go!

This table is crashing on startup for me now, does anyone else have the same issue?
Think i’m on latest VPX 10.4 and Sam 3.0 builds (with PinDMDv3 dll)

Aaaah. Gotcha.
It is a bloody pain….I’m *this* close to just writing an AutoHotkey script to just be able to press a button and having it flip….Laziness and all that.

Out of interest,
“if this is a problem , you shouldn’t be using Exclusive Fullscreen in the first place ;)”
How come we shouldn’t be using Exclusive Fullscreen? I’d been led to believe you got better frame rate and improved input lag in Exclusive Fullscreen, is this not the case then?

Hey
When the Skull moves up/down I get a really loud, repeating sound effect thats really quite off putting. Sounds like that sort of SFX you get when something crashes and the audio is stuck in a repeating loop.
How would I go about turning this off so it just moves silently?
