There was some interest in seeing 4MBC made into a VP 10.5 table so Bord has agreed to make this happen by doing the heavy lifting in getting the artwork made for the table. He sent me a nice lower res playfield image for layout work while he is busy working on splicing photos together for the real playfield.
This is a really interesting table because of all of the cool elements to it like multiball, multiple modes, zipper flippers and the “Bird ramp”. I’ve got the multiball trough, zipper flippers and rubber elements in place. I’m hoping that Slydog will help us out with scans of the plastics and backglass plus I’d like him to measure the height and length of the Bird ramp so I can figure out what angle to set the ramp at.

May 8, 2018 at 4:50 am #84135yes, thanks for creating this one. My real on pin is placed right behind my Virtual Pin, and I like to show how realistic VP is compared to real tables. I will measure the Bird ramp for later today. Good luck guys

May 12, 2018 at 9:05 am #84502Looks awesome Bord, thanks Slydog43!  This table is going to look really nice.
Slydog43, couldn’t find any info on the ramp slope on the google drive site. Can you tell me what the height and length of the “Bird Ramp” is? Also can I send you a copy of the table to get your opinion on the Bird Ramp shot? We need to get that right before moving on to primitives.

May 12, 2018 at 10:01 am #84504I get a kick out of the plastics for this game. They prove that burlap is the oldest fabric known to man.

Yup, whole table looks and plays great. I got so lucky and my girl bought it for me to boot!

May 12, 2018 at 6:22 pm #84538sorry adding more to the drop box. Ramp is 10 7/8″ long, 2.25″ wide and 1″ tall. I hope you can understand my drawing :)  I would love to help test play the table as I have a lot of experience. Love that you care about the ramp, as its very important to the game.

May 12, 2018 at 9:02 pm #84551Hey Slydog43, if the lights are lit under the mushroom bumpers for advancing the tar pit or releasing the volcano, do the flippers still zip and unzip?

May 12, 2018 at 9:25 pm #84552Yes, bumper lights just mean they are worth more. They turn on Blue / Green / Red the farther up you get in the bird ramp. They stay light for the entire ball. Its much better to fall past the top of the ramp than to not make it up at all (ie all pop bumper lights are lite vs none. They have nothing to do with the tar pit or volcano. Does that make sense?

May 13, 2018 at 10:48 pm #84614We’ve now got a fully working table! Now for play testing and tweeking the playfield and if that goes well it will be time for Bord to cook up the missing primitives.
