https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/checkpoint-data-east-1991-agenteighty6-mod/
This is my MOD of Checkpoint that is based on the VPX version done by GoldChicco and 32Assassin.
The more I played this table, the more I liked it and I wanted to really give it a good update to add all the bells and whistles and improve upon what they did. I’ve tested it on both FS and DT and they seem to play well (in my opinion) and both DOF and SSF seem to work well on my cab.
This MOD includes the following changes/enhancements:
‘Added flupper flashers.
‘Fixed flasher solenoid assignments.
‘Added nfozzy flippers.
‘Updated physics.
‘Corrected various switches.
‘Created and added main ramp primitive.
‘Added led bulb lighting to signs.
‘Improved gi lighting.
‘Added car toy headlights.
‘Updated lights on back panel.
‘Added speaker panel and lights (for DT).
‘Cleaned up insert lights.
‘Changed inserts to reflect on ball.
‘Added subway to left vuk.
‘Animated bumpers like real table.
‘Updated lights in bumpers. As mentioned above, this is based on the VPX version by Goldchicco, 32assassin so I had a great start to improve upon what they already did.
Shout out also to the authors that created the VP9 version to which the VPX version was built:
‘Bodydump
‘Requlem
‘Destruk
‘BatchAnd also the Future Pinball authors Francisco666 & Bodydump.

Right there. That’s all it takes to get me interested in a mod. Thanks for this and everything else you did. The screenshot looks great.

March 16, 2021 at 6:22 pm #229579Do yourself a favor and look and how tidy Agent’s code is.  His table and mods are just as tidy.  I’ll always have his mods.
Thanks, Agent.

You fully understand why I did all those table in VPX, not for me, but for the community to have a base to work on and make them great in VPX.
I am really happy to see this one, Waterworld and the new Al’s Garage Band , all of you (Authors) did a great job on those MODs, also Pole Position is in makeover phase
Congratulation on all those releases!!!!

March 16, 2021 at 10:51 pm #229609This is great, love the updates you’ve done. It still plays fast an unforgiving, but looks a lot nicer while doing it!

March 17, 2021 at 6:01 am #229637Great choice!! Very fun table. Goldchicco and others did a fantastic job before. But this mod takes the table to the next level. Excellent Agent86!! The SFF really rocks in this table. Thanks for sharing.

March 17, 2021 at 12:41 pm #229665I have an update coming. Among other things, I still have an incorrect flasher assignment (the back right yellow one) and also i think the table needs just a smidge more playfield friction.

March 18, 2021 at 10:19 am #229802congratulations on the great job!
for me the response of the flippers is slow, with a delay, can this be corrected? the correction would be in the table script, how to do it?
thanks

March 18, 2021 at 11:10 am #229825@zigbane, I played a couple games on this today. Very nice! One thing I noticed is that the inlane guides (VP walls) don’t have any friction to them so the ball skates unnaturally as it heads toward the flippers.
On my indulgent wishlist: The Pit Stop saucer is just crying for a mesh playfield hole for the ball to interact with. If you’re interested I know a guy that could help with that…
Please take those things constructively. What you’ve done here already is terrific.
