This is a WIP for Punk (Gottlieb 1982). There’s still a lot of cleanup of the plastics — much of it is just temporary but it doesn’t look that bad. There’s lot of stuff that needs to be done that I don’t really know how to do, so anyone please feel free to share your improvements.

April 1, 2019 at 11:57 am #121924I know this is a wip. Here is what I found thus far. The ball can bypass the top right lock and go behind the drop targets. The top drop targets, if one or two are down, it is possible to get the ball behind them and get stuck. The only other things and I’m sure you know about them, There is one punk missing still on the playfield (I know you mentioned before you were working on that punk. The drop targets are missing their stickers. Other than that, BRAVO! This table is just a weird rare machine, that I really enjoy. I’m not sure if you are done with the project and passing it off or if you are going to still be doing some touch ups to it, but these were my notes. Also, some tables had red pop bumpers instead of white, if anyone ever wants to add that as an option. Thanks a ton scotty this table looks great!

April 1, 2019 at 12:49 pm #121937Thank you Scotty,
after the first ball has been lost, a captured ball has been released. The flippers could not be moved and the released ball was caught between middle post and flipper tip.

April 1, 2019 at 5:49 pm #121996Wow… tons of great feedback! Regretfully, I am entirely out of my league when it comes to fixing 90% of this. I’m really just a dude that traces artwork. Is there anyone that understands what needs to be done, and how to do it?
My effort here was really just a resource project… but it was playable enough and folks wanted it enough, so I put it out there as a “WIP”. This is true for every table I’ve released… I’m really not qualified to release tables, and would welcome anyone to take them over!
Thanks all.

April 1, 2019 at 9:36 pm #122024It looks great. Thank you. I played 2 games on it and on the first ball of both games the ball became stuck somewhere near the upper left pop bumper so it just sat there are bounced and scored points until I closed the table ant ideas?

April 2, 2019 at 12:14 am #122045Attached are to Punk tables. I fixed the spots where the balls can get stuck (I used walls and hid them, I’m sure pro builders have a better solution but I’m going with temp fixes for now). I also added the last punk from my vp9 table until scotty finishes up with graphics. I also added the drop target graphics. The only difference between the two tables attached is I added red bumper caps to the other. Feel free to add to these tables!

April 4, 2019 at 2:27 pm #122609Hi there ! You did it ! congratulation !
I must admit i have been waiting fot a long time for this table.., because I have the chance
to own the real one ! the only thing is that the french version has no plot between the flippers.
Except that, your table plays quite well ! thank you so much for this release.

April 4, 2019 at 2:47 pm #122626April 7, 2019 at 2:21 am #123156Had the same problem, and I could not figure out why it wasn’t working. Ended up being a problem with the db2 I had, not the table.

April 7, 2019 at 4:08 pm #123296I took another look at this today, and I can see there is still a lot of work. The posts are misplaced everywhere, and there’s still a lot of refinement of the shapes of the plastics, etc.
And, I hate to break it to anyone that was playing the WIP and starting to think that they are good at pinball…
The center post between the flippers, and the outlane posts are not supposed to be there at all! I just put them there for testing. I’ll update the post to WIP 12, that doesn’t have these posts. And, there’s some other changes.
