Commenting out line 2279 and 2280 of the script solved my mouse cursor issue.
Game start fine now!
Thanks a lot!
Perfect. I have made those changes and updated the file to version 1.1.
Have fun!

Awesome table AlDiode, thanks for sharing!
Unfortunately I cannot get it to run, it says…
Line 7131: Object required: ‘Controller’
Line 640: Object required: ‘Controller’
Sorry for the noob ignorance. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
Both of those lines refer to the B2S Backglass server. That and UltraDMD are the only controllers used in this table.

First of all, thank you very much for this very nice table ! Great work !
But I also have to say that I’ve got the same issue than “multigame 1209” on my 2-screens cabinet : I can’t play until I move the mouse on my PF screen and click on it…
Is someone able to solve this problem ?
FYI, I had the same problem with Diablo (another table with UltraDMD), but I found a fix on VPForums. I had to delete 2 script lines:
While UltraDMD.IsRendering = True
WEnd
It solved the problem for Diablo Pinball. I hope a script expert will find what to do on the SOA table and that the solution is as simple as for Diablo…
Those 2 lines of code can be found on line 2279 and 2280 of the script. They are left over from the original table and can be commented out of this one with no effect to the operation of the table. Let me know if that resolves your problem and I will update the release.
Thanks

Nice table!
All the sound (music and pinball) are coming out from the playfield speakers.
Is it possible to separate the sound like others tables ?
Thanks!
It is certainly possible to separate the sounds. I haven’t the means to do it though. I only have one set of speakers in my cabinet. A pair in the backbox with a subwoofer in the base. Perhaps someone else could help with this?
Sorry.

What a surprise! Nice work! Here is the gameplay video:
I enjoyed watching someone other than me play this table. Actually, it was your Streets of Rage table that gave me the inspiration to start this one. I added the right magnasave to give you a halfway decent shot at hitting the upper left kicker needed to start multiball. It’s limited and not a sure thing so use it wisely….

You need the file FPVPX.VBS in order to play this table. I did not have it installed either. I was able to find it by downloading Metal Gear which includes the file. This fixed the issue for me.
I have added it to the table zip file. All is well. Thanks for your patience.

getting a script error line 130 null..please advise..thanks in advance
You need the fpvpx.vbs for proper functioning of the table. Sorry. I knew that I forgot something. Here is the vbs file that you need to unzip and add to your pinball/scripts folder. I’ll add it to the table upload later.

Thanks for a great table RandR! Here is a quick backglass image that I threw together until a B2s can be made if anyone wants it. I found all of these images on the interweb. I can only hope and pray that none of them were used in Horsepin’s table.

1 user thanked author for this post.
The ball should not cross the mid point of the bar. Perhaps a little adjustment to the front leg levelers for a slight tilt of the cabinet to the rear will keep that from happening to you? I have had to do the same to keep the ball leaning against the playfield.

I started already….

@randr Absolutely does not work that way. I played a game with the glass off ball in hand. Holes 1,2,&3 definitely do not trigger 8,9,&10. Sorry no cheating here…

Unless you play with the glass off ball in hand (I made a wicked high score)

Looks good, and with the speaker and coin door in the right place….

It needs to be or the ball would fall off the bar when it enters the playfield. As it is, it hits the glass when it drops onto the bar.

@randr Nothing to be concerned about. That’s perfect. There is only enough room for the bar to move without touching the playfield or the glass. I’m not even sure that I have as much as 3/4 of an inch. See pictures.

Remember. The width of the playfield needs to be just short of the inside width of the cabinet. The posterboard that I used to trace the playfield was not wide enough so the top and bottom of the tracing is not to scale (the center part is to scale). The printed width at the top and bottom is what you will want. We wouldn’t want another coin door/speaker panel issue :)

That’s it. It looks just like mine (only 35 years newer…)

I’m going to keep looking would be much easier to do if I had my hands on one but should be fairly easy I think
Of course it would be easier, but where’s the fun in that?
