I am sure you already cheked that, but could there still be a another dmddevice.ini somewhere on your system? I mean in addition to the one that has to be in vpinmame folder. Don’t give up, you will get it running
I will search tomorrow, if there is another one.

Didn’t you a one time install dmdext to system folders ? You are sure that the old stuff is cleaned out properly ?
I Think so.

You could try to set: “use VPM’s registry values when positioning the virtual dmd useregistry = false” to “true” and see if that moves your dmd
Thanks, but I try that also. No change. The DMD is always opened on the playfield at position 0,0. I give up, because I don’t know, what else I can try.

Thanks, I read this in Mark’s thread with his problems and tested it also.
I could write, what I want. If I open the table it is always the same.
Changes are written, but ignored.

It looks fantastic, what I’ve seen till now. Can’t wait to play with it. Seems to be very easy to configurate.
And the performance is great. And with HF there is a great artist for collaboration.
So I can say: Goodbye PinballX.

What a surprise. Can’t wait to see this in action. I use PinballX, but starting a table lasts one to two minutes; and all Pinball related things are on the fastest M2-SSD. So my hope is, that this is much faster.
Wishes?
Ok, favourites, tables from a special era (70, 80, 90 etc), tables from a special manufacture (Bally, Gottlieb etc).
And I’m ready to help testing.

I love this table. Play this and Vortex yesterday for hours.
Both are wonderful playable.

Yes, I use freezy dll for DMD, but no real DMD. It was fully working.
I have checked “use external” and unmarked the b2s DMD.

Hi,
same here. Old version works. I delete it.
I install the new version. Everything seems to be fine. Test is OK.
I set all screens and save them. When I start the TRON-table, I don’t see any videos only the DMD, which is captured.
And the DVD is on the playfield. I move the DVD to the backglas, change the size.
When I start the table another time, the DVD is again on the playfield. Nothing changed.
I had run the PinUpPlayerConfigDisplays.bat several times.
The videos are in the folder D:\Pinballs\Visual Pinball X\Tables\PinUpPlayer\PUPVideos\trn_174h
There is also the folder PupCapture with 36 images.

January 8, 2018 at 6:30 am in reply to: Star Wars – Empire Strikes Back, The (Hankin 1980) Sound Mod v1.8 #73701Yes, I have the latest version (no beta).
But with all tables I tested, I have no difference with fast flippers on or off. Maybe my PC is fast enough.
I don’t know.

January 8, 2018 at 5:02 am in reply to: Star Wars – Empire Strikes Back, The (Hankin 1980) Sound Mod v1.8 #73696Hi,
thanks for the mod. Really good table.
But I have the same problem with the flippers as vanlocke. With solenoids=19 flippers don’t work.
So I change to solenoids=1 and everything is OK.
And my tables are always directly under the path /tables.
I test regular the file- and pathlength with this program:

Also with this backglass I don’t see the credits. Do you see credits?

I will take a look, if I’m on my pinball-PC. But as I remember, I don’t see a difference. That is, what it makes mysterious.

I never had that problem, but, I believe HF and Joey2001 had the same problem. I don’t understand, Joey2001 said he downgraded to an older version.
Yes, but I don’t understand, why the Taito-tables work after the installing an older taito.vbs from 13.12.2016.
But there are others and it didn’t work there. But for me all taitos run with this version from the minimal setup.
