Yes, please, bring on any kind of patches/merge requests as Thalamus pointed out. Most of that code wasn’t added by me and i also don’t have the proper setup to test this with, so any help fixing such things is appreciated!

The plan now is that (at least) the all in one installer will just ship with that specific dll included. This seems to work well with ‘clean’ Win10 installs.

And just to be sure: The dll that was complained about being missing was d3dx9_43.dll @harriswilson ?

Will look into making the all-in-one-installer more robust..

The crash was due to some debug code of mine, but nevertheless, this will be fixed in the next PinMAME update, as it could lead to some crash also on normal builds (although unlikely).

I have a full crash each time i collect the extra ball. Very weird, will try to debug it.

Just a general thank you again for your FSS work!
And a small heads-up that i improved the DMD rendering once more so the next 10.7 beta will improve the look a bit more, especially if the DMD is rather small on-screen (like playing FSS on a standard-rotated FullHD screen).

The license says its not for commercial use, but i think the use case your describing is kind of in a gray zone, as the main ‘value’ comes from the table that is created here and not VPX itself. And also no money is earned by selling VPX or any ‘foreign’ tables here, but from the new table itself.
But i’m not in the position to declare that this is legally fine or not, its just my personal opinion.

Looks great thanks but getting error:- Can
t load VPinmame, ActiveX component can
t create object.
Very strange as my scripts are all updated & I have the Rom,any help much appreciatedThis is due to the script doing weird stuff with the controller init.
I still don’t get why people constantly reinvent the wheel there, although there is the controller.vbs nowadays.
Use this before LoadVPM “01500000”, “SEGA.VBS”, 3.10:
On Error Resume Next
ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile(“controller.vbs”)
If Err Then MsgBox “You need the controller.vbs in order to run this table, available in the vp10 package”
On Error Goto 0Then remove the LoadVPM (not the LoadVPM “01500000”, “SEGA.VBS”, 3.10) function completely below
