No, tables will be not backwards compatible but the older ones should play fine but there can be some sound issues. I would overwrite the files after the official release.

@Knorr wondering if the 10.7 EXE is a requirement for this table to work correctly… I’ve already grabbed the scripts from v10.7 a while back and used them with my current v10.6.

I did read the installation notes before posting… don’t think it was necessary to invalidate my question though; there are a number of us out there using this 10.7/10.6 hybrid while waiting for the bugs to be addressed in v10.7, for a stable version. as the community consensus has been to not use v10.7 until that time. Looks amazing @knorr. Unfortunately I haven’t fixed the DOF lights yet, so I won’t experience the full light show I saw on youtube before I do.
For those that are scared of VP10.7 – you can. Download the beta, extract it to lets say c:\temp – now rename VPinballX.exe to VPinballX107beta.exe or something like that. Put that exe into your VP and manually start it for table that require VP10.7. There is no good reason not to play this beauty.

magnificently jaw dropping! The kinda tabel you have to take a second glance at to make sure its not teh real one. and still even there its hard to tell. Great work boys! unbeleivable magic!

Just installed the beta to try this out and wow, great SSF and physics, the table looks and plays great also it’s easy to control the ball with the flippers more so than usual. Dunno how much of this greatness is due to the 10.7 beta but good times are ahead :) Thanks and Kudos to all involved!!
