Bad habbit I have learned from work. ;)   You know its permissible to re-rev an initial release within a 2 week period assuming your not writing Airbus or lottery machine software. State law. LOL

Its now under rev control and will be incremented as needed since its now “stable”.

        Okay guys.

Latest rev 1.0 is up and ready to download. Hopefully everything works. Made some more lighting changes and a few more graphical tweaks. Enjoy.

Update. I plan on hopefully, one  last update for the initial release.

The captured ball issue is fixed. Resolved a few more lighting issues. Randr is doing a quick prim tweak on the apron wire which I want to get in this rev.

Look for it maybe tonight or tomorrow.

Hmmm….I will look at it today. That feature as been a tough to get right but I recently re-positioned the posts that capture the ball.

              Update:

              Colidable R1 and R2 rubbers…fixed.

Flipper angles fixed. Now better match my real BBBB (dont know how I missed that one)

              Duplicate sound files deleted

Ball rolling volume set to 2000. IMO, 1000 is just a bit too loud.

Pop bumpers placement better dialed in.

Pop bumpers strength set to 10.

Regarding PF friction. I believe you need to refer to the “mainPF” wall that is located in layer 8. This is the actual PF surface. Its friction is currently set to 0.05

If I am correct, the typical “table…PF friction setting do not work to tweak this table. But I could be wrong. Maybe someone can confirm.

New rev is up in the DL section. It still is described as 1.0.

Thanks Bill, nice work on both of them. do you have a preferred b2s that you use with them? I think there are a couple out there.. or maybe not…

This is the one I use. Think it might have come from Wildman.

Only issue with it is the blue Alpha/numeric LEDS. They are supposed to be the common orange color. There are also a couple of flashers in the image that are missing. Maybe Haunt can put a out a new one if he has the time. I can provide a video of the working BG.

For the coffin targets. Take a look at how they did on “The Pinball Arcade”. It appears that their is a part  that flips open. Hard to describe, put its clear on TPA.

One comment regarding the trap door and this would also apply to the trapdoor on FH. Watching the video, the door “snaps” open and closed. Although these two features are very fast on the real tables, you can still see a slight “analog” like movement. Would it be possible to script these features in such a way that they have a more realistic speed while transitioning from open to closed etc.

Indeed the memory’s. Thanks for the kind words.

Okay I am having the real backglass professionally photographed here at work today. I have photoshopped a BG and its really good. But I want to try to leverage the real BG image…un-photoshopped if we can get a good enough quality shot. The glare and reflections make it very difficult.

I am doing some more swizzling of the FS backdrop and have changed some more things to improve actual scale and POV to the real thing. Good topic on this over at VPF. So expect another rev in the next few days.

Is this a VPX table or real photo?!?! amazing :good:

LOL Someone posted a similar comment a while back. The funny thing is, I wanted a visually high quality table, but photo realistic was not really the goal. The table just sort of fell together the way it did and even I was blown away by how photo realistic it looked.

And as I have said before, I had a good team to help to make it happen. Be sure to check the credits in the script.

Yeah the only DB2S backglass is the one from RP. I am currently drawing the the real BG image for a new DB2S that will be high res. Haunt freaks is likely gonna do the DB2S stuff. Expect a a new BG soon.

Okay I fixed my issue. It was this test line in the script:

                                            If keycode = 30 then TestKick.CreateBall:TestKick.Kick 180, 10:LightAdjust

I have the A button mapped to my left flipper button using Joy2key to make the MAME work on my cab. Everytime I hit the flipper button, it launched a new ball onto the PF. At one point, I lost count at 55 balls on the table. :)

Anyway, its working and I am looking forward to UW finishing this one up. What a unique table.
