I decided that I’m going to rebuild the majority of my favorite tables with authentic lightning
easiest way that can happen is if I have a layout of the GI.
I collected a “behind the Backglass” picture for the 4 major pinball manufactures
Solid State and DMD tables ONLY
Stern Pinball (1970s-1980s)
Gottlieb (1970s-1990s)
Bally (1970s-1990s)
Williams (1970s-1990s)
Data East
Capcom
Misc – WIP: Inder, Game Plan, Alving G, Allied Lesure
Sega – no need early models have the layout in the service manual or are static
Stern (2000s) – no need all are static (added for T3)
their are a few missing, I already spent allot of time looking for them, I don’t plan to look for them again.
Missing files
Beat the Clock (Bally 1985).png have one but it does not match the backglass image
Cosmic Princess (Stern 1979).png
Defender (Williams 1982).png
Eclipse (Gottlieb 1982).png
Force II (Gottlieb 1981).png
Goin’ Nuts (Gottlieb 1983).png
Nudge-It (Gottlieb 1990).png
Punk! (Gottlieb 1982).png
Royal Flush Deluxe (Gottlieb 1983).png
The Gottlieb (1990s) service manuals usually have a full backglass layout with all the IDs, I added all the IDs I could confirm.
I’m sharing this files given that I don’t plan to upload all the backglass
I do, feel free to updated some if you find HQ artwork or authentic lighting is something you like.
I’m starting with this ones as the artwork is amazing

May 23, 2020 at 9:17 pm #182051Thanks for the resource, pretty cool.
I have a non-working (hopefully getting to it soon) Royal Flush Deluxe at the work house, I’ll take a pic for you when I get back there in a couple days.
Here is most of Torch

I used the perspective crop tool to get all the pictures to look like they where taken from the front.
you need at least 3 corners for that to happen.
I left more then one HQ picture that looked like this and ended up using a low quality video capture.
I found a HQ picture of Stellar wars the only thing about Williams and Bally tables; their is no way to confirm
the ID of the Flashers

June 7, 2020 at 5:13 pm #184886Bally/ Williams have been updated
I was having a hard time rebuilding the Bally/Williams 1990s dB2s files, I was making the assumption that the flashers and lamps used for the current files where accurate.
I started looking for pictures of the wiring and noticed that allot of the GI strings don’t share an ID
I download as many pics as I could find and updated all the Bally/Williams 1990s pictures with the correct GI strings
all the Bally 1990s are identified and the pic has been modified with the IDs (including stuff in the “built in display” folder)
I was not able to find a pic for all the Williams tables.

February 5, 2021 at 8:04 am #222485This is really handy, I’m looking at the Judge Dredd one and having the wiring shown as well has helped me trace them all out and confirm exactly where they are, great work!
