You may or may not have noticed that my avatar here, well almost everywhere, is some of the cabinet artwork from Alien Star, and actually added to as some of it is normally blocked by the coin door. Since I did the stencils for the cabinet, and also have a color variety pack of heat transfer vinyl I figured I could make a t-shirt with that on it. I’ve done a couple iterations of the avatar with an extra piece added to one to kind of fill in the right side some. I’m not sure which I prefer, or even if I should simplify it some more, or even add more on. thoughts? marked up images welcome.
and for reference here is a shot of the cabinet (not my cab) front where the art came from.

Don’t know what to respond to the question. What I do know though, is that I would be very interested in a t-shirt with that logo on the front and vpinball on the back ;)

Got around to doing some trials today with the sample pack of heat transfer vinyl today. Don’t have all the right colors and I’m using an old shirt, but first trial:

The logo looks great.
The T Shirt issue has burned in the cinders of many imaginations now for decades. Back when I was a kid ad something called “Woodstock” turned on the imagination of a generation, tie dye and various other media were used to colour ( or Color if you spell it that way ) imaginative designs for anything. Then the 70’s hit and the eruption of printing became biblical in proportion.
Anyhow I digress, for those interested in making unique designs for clothes and such like there are available some A4 size print and Iron on design sheets. All you need is a graphics editor and a printer (Bubblejet, Inkjet and I believe now some lazer capable media). These sheets can be obtained off sites like Ebay and Amazon at a reasonable price. Either buy in singles or packs. Im not advertising the brands and sites, just throwing a more personal option into the fray.
Mass printing of Tshirts now leaves out one consideration, what to do with those that dont sell !!
Using this idea it offers the individual the chance to own their own designs quickly and more cost effective. Print of a £200 shirt looks just as good as a $5 shirt from KMart is it?
It also offers personal representation. A page of Tshirt logos and designs for use in this media may be of use to all members without the need for P&P or waiting for a bulk order to be put together.
Just a thought.

I think I’ve seen the print and iron on ones, but I don’t have a color printer, and I do have a vinyl cutter so this is what I went with.

Thanks, No, not UV proof, standard low-e, argon filled blah blah, but no direct sunlight comes in the window on the left, the one on the right behind pinball pool gets at most an hour of morning sunshine depending on time of year.
