July 24, 2017 at 6:36 am #59323Really nice! Looks like that 43″ screen fits perfectly in a standard body without doing any routing. What is the make and model of the playfield screen?
EDIT: Looking closer at the pictures now I see there are grooves routed for the playfield monitor (just checked in my mobile before). Still interested in the model and the decased width though. Also at what angle did you do the grooves and why did you choose that angle?

July 24, 2017 at 2:07 pm #59339And one more question :-). Did you make the cabinet according to the standard length or is it shorter to better fit the playfield screen?

July 25, 2017 at 7:02 pm #59381The cabinet is built a little shorter than a standard cabinet but not by much. It is 46″ long . The play field screen is a vizio. Not sure of model anymore. It was the cheapest 1080p at Best Buy earlier this year. Decased it was about 21 1/4 wide and it added some plastic rails to the edges made from .100 lexan. It sits about 3″ higher on the back edge than the front to simulate an actual play field and to help with viewing angle. I chose this because to my eye it just looked right, no other reason

July 31, 2017 at 3:03 pm #59621Did you put any glass in front of the backbox monitor? Looks like it shouldn’nt be needed in the build pictures.

August 5, 2017 at 10:55 pm #60048Yes. I used 1/8″ tempered just for monitor protection and to help give it a finished look

August 6, 2017 at 1:52 am #60054Nice build. Â I’m interested in the placement of the tactile drivers and how they go compared to the usual placement at the side of the cab

August 6, 2017 at 8:42 am #60064The drivers seem to work really well. Although I have nothing to compare to but you can definitely feel everything that is happening

August 10, 2017 at 11:38 am #60305In the pictures it looks like you have a lot of buttons under the cabinet. Do they all have functions assigned or is it just to future proof?

August 10, 2017 at 1:07 pm #603154 act as power buttons for the 3 screens and the CPU the other 4 are just used to future proof
