November 7, 2017 at 10:22 pm #68684…and with some really big developments with a new program coming out for VP…you could even add a B2S combined with HD video clips from the cartoons or movie! It can look better than Batman 66!
I’ve been beta testing, and so far its been working very nicely! Have a read about it here:

November 8, 2017 at 3:28 pm #68737so I spent all last night working on these ramps, the ramp to the right i tried making in the editor.. it came out like balls… then tried exporting it as an obj… looked like shit… so I wound up modeling it from scratch, and since i never made a 3D model ramp it took hours and hours.. so the pic to the right is the outcome
the left ramp is the tube from xenon, with new sleeves… and the exit is the u-turn from Ripley’s… and it still needs a new entry rampYou need to login in order to like this post: click here

November 8, 2017 at 8:51 pm #68749good go on the ramps, I made my first ramps too for my next table and same thing they are bollox. if you don’t take the time to render to texture with a HDR environment and good lighting for the reflections .. well that’s what you and me get.

I still dont get the whole baking and rendering the light in thing… so I’m just relying on the materials to get the right color :(
here is my attempt to making the plastic entry ramp from scratch…. again using the VPX ramp just didn’t work out…

November 9, 2017 at 4:46 pm #68788I’ve always wanted to do a Batman: The Animated Series retheme of TDK. Bruce Timm is one of my favorite character designers of all time. Nice to see a few of his Harleys on here.

any thoughts of adding a semi-transparent edge around the plastics before your line/edge work?

I think with it being a late 80’s style I’m just going to do the under printed acrylic with just trans on the edge, but with no border
the other reason would be these plastics don’t have much real estate, and i’m already trimming the graphics a ton
so the final version they wont look as flatYou need to login in order to like this post: click here
