January 24, 2017 at 10:56 pm #46370There’s been a lot of discussion lately about flasher intensity, what is realistic and what not, but I happen to love the effect Javier accomplished on this table, real WOW factor. Great table Javier, well done and thanks for sharing it here where all the cool people hang out (myself includedÂ
)

January 25, 2017 at 6:11 pm #46418I’m having a problem with the slingshots sending the ball either directly into the flippers area or directly into the inlanes in reverse. Seems like this should be more horizontal motion. Also seems like alot of the playfield objects have more elasticity than normal. Ball going up Ramp3 occasionally rebounds hard off the curve and rolls back.

January 25, 2017 at 10:09 pm #46422Great job, Javier! This one has some great flow. Dark’s ramps look amazing. Beautiful playfield redraw — super sharp. I must have played this for three hours straight tonight.

January 26, 2017 at 10:36 pm #46536Fun table. I have on idea what the issue was but on Rollergames and a few other new recreations I was getting strange physics issues on VPX 10.2.1. The ball was acting magnetized and would often pull to the left. Not sure what it was. It seems to play more stable for me on 10.2. Should I be using the latest VpinMAME? I haven’t upgraded in a couple of months.

February 2, 2017 at 11:45 pm #46954VPM has kind of stabilized with the latest builds. Â Â Probably a good time to upgrade, but I don’t think it will have much if any effect on RollerGames.

February 3, 2017 at 12:44 am #46956I should probably have created my own thread to not detract from Javier’s most excellent Rollergames table.
I couldn’t figure out what the issue was. I even went back to VPX 10.2 and 10.1 and tables I hadn’t had an issue previously were now having the mysterious ball pull to the left. Even when running older versions of VPX. It didn’t happen on every game but roughly 40% of the time or so. I tried different and older versions of VpinMAME. No luck. So I still have no idea what the problem was.
I save my VP folders from time to time and rolled back one that I had saved from a couple of weeks ago. It’s using the VPX 10.2.0 release from 12/26 I believe. I’ll have to double check which VpinMAME it’s using. Just re-downloaded the new tables and no issues seen so far.

February 3, 2017 at 5:30 pm #47030Well I rolled back and everything is working great. Don’t want to make the VP Gods angry.Â
However if the issue comes up again upon upgrading I’ll give that a try. Thanks for the insight.

February 12, 2017 at 5:13 pm #48199Wildman just posted a killer hi-rez backglass for Rollergames over at VPU.
*edit* Â I have to admit that the fact that the dudes on the backglass were wearing leopard-print spandex uniforms was lost on me until I saw the hi-rez version.

September 24, 2018 at 1:32 pm #99201I cannot figure it out why on my PC it wont “recognize rom or path”.
“Machine ‘rolr_l2’ (Rollergames (L-2)) terminated before initialized, check the rom path or rom file!”
Paths look fine to me, rom contents look ok. Any ideas?
