This is a VR version of Bally’s singular Safe Cracker. I have repositioned and scaled all the lights of the backglass, build doors and chrome bars in Blender, rebuild some of the cabinet arts from pictures and added a topglass and reflections on it. I build an unobtrusive room to keep focus on the amazing vpx-build.
I hope you enjoy it.
Special keys:
- Left magnasave will toggle Topglass on/off.
- Right magnasave will toggle DMD size/position.

May 26, 2020 at 9:12 am #182665Many thanks, I will be testing this out after work today, can’t wait as this is a unique pin that should be interesting with the scale provided by VR.

May 26, 2020 at 5:57 pm #182874This is very well done Basti. Thank you. I love the shadows and lighting, and the cabinet is put together so well.  I really like this table, and I’m super happy you made it for VPVR.  My only suggestion would be an option to tone down all of the backglass reflection components. For me, they seem a bit overwhelming.

Left magnasave will toggle topglass and reflections on/off. I think the devices have different brightness, so its impossible to setup right for any device. I tuned all reflections lights and the backglass light to look perfect in my Quest.

May 30, 2020 at 3:32 am #183526b2sti, thanks so much for this amazing VPVR room! I really think this may be the best illusion of depth from player POV in VPVR yet. Just beautiful! Would love to see an option to decrease reflection of backbox on playfield glass. I totally want to keep the playfield glass “ON” because it provides such depth. But, I agree that the reflections are a bit too strong. Maybe half that strength (?)
This is such a gift. Love it!
