I downloaded the latest version of the table and the media file and am still getting the same error on line 5985
Okay subscript out of range .. I wonder if you added more files into the folders or something … try this.
Line 330: (you have more files and folders then the code is expecting so lets up the numbers)
From:
Dim fo(40), fn(40,80), fs(40,80), folder ‘ folders, filenames and filesizes
To:
Dim fo(140), fn(140,180), fs(140,180), folder ‘ folders, filenames and filesizes

The backglass and the bg insert are all controlled via the pinuplayer and the pinupplayerConfigDisplays.bat
.. you should not have to touch the table to change any of this (as of the 1.03 release) — and if you get an error with 5985 or there abouts .. it means you are not running the latest release of the table and PinUpPlayer.

FYI doesn’t look like there is a new release, likely description was changed which updated the download as “update” but the table and media all have same date/size I think

What’s my take on this .. well there is nothing I can do to stop it.. a bit disappointed it was reposted – only been out for less than a week. By the way if you want a premium edition there is an easter egg in the v1.03 table already. I would suggest you sit on it till all the work is done on the original release.

I got it working now but get an error message when I exit the game at line 8340 controller needed. This only happens when I exit to VP. My next question is I am playing on a desktop and the table is blocked by the pinupplayer on the left side so what do you recommend for the settings to prevent this? Also which key is the zap button?
Zap button is likely left or right control key .. if you press it you will get a message saying you need a zap .. so press away until you find it for you config.
(Its the left/right magnasave key)
Get v1.03 – I am not a pinup expert but I think you can startup the pinup player config and just modify your settings to adjust that.

Thank you Daryl for your hard work on this cool table. Here’s a minor graphic issue which I’m guessing you’re already aware of: ball3.png needs to be cleaned up a bit . . .

Quick one liner if you want to keep a high score properly on your machine..Around line 7144, change it to two lines AND change it to EQUAL sign
if Score(CurrentPlayer) = HighScore(3) Then HighScoreName(3) = hsEnteredName

.. open up any OTHER table and run it to see the backglass, right click on it to change the properties. You want to UNCHECK the show errors of a missing directb2s.

This is a case where I use b2s for DOF but there is no .directb2s used.

I have 3 screen setup and the dmd is showing up on right top of playfield. 1.3 pupack works fine with 1.2 table but no love with 1.3??
Unzip either 2 screen or 3 screen .zip files overwriting the 3 pup files in the mmunsters directory.

Any idea what i can do about this when i try and exit i get an error
Thats unusual .. save to delete that line .. it is trying to unload the directb2s controller as you exit the table.

Re L0stS0ul .. obviously rules change and get updated .. I will read thru your notes .. but just for an example..from the video from DeadFlip .. all 4 Grandpas are lit .. the same is seen during the Stern reveal with Deadflip as well. So what you say might be true but I just implemented what I saw and read.
I cant possibly rip thru all the rules that are in their code or even try to – but as I mention I will review your note and figure out what I can and cannot implement.
Ditto with Spot.

The Zap’s are scored via the magna save flipper buttons — if you have them mapped over to your normal flippers you have a setup issue with your key/button assignments.
(You get the warning if you do not see the flashing blue strobe telling you to score a zap. If you score a zap, it will light a blue zap jackpot after any mode is completed where you scored a jackpot. If that makes sense
)

My first attempt at Pup and mostly all working well :)
Couple of questions, my DMD display is physically slightly larger than the hole in the speaker panel normally I resize the PinMame display to fit.
Here it’s sized perfectly to the screen which means the bottom 1cm is displaying outside the speaker panel – is it possible to resize it manually?
Second – every time I hit the left flipper it says ‘You gotta charge your zap meter’ (I’m guessing my left flipper button is mapped to something else in the script, but what and where? – the lockdown bar button?)
I can also hear a windows dialog sound on launch, but I can’t see the message as I’m running excusive fullscreen, but the table goes and works happily, the DMD and backglass are visible too.
Looking forward to the progress on this one, looking great so far!

Error line 6953 :(
You have some weird setup .. that is the write to the .stg high score file – in your case – did you have to run as admin? It cant write the file.

Question. should DOF be working at this stage? I see the dof commands but it’s not on the dof site or in the list of things to fix in the script notes.

There is an up post in the center of the orbit behind Herman. There are two skill shots from the plunger and both rely on the up post being up. The right lane into the pops and the left ramp are lit for skill shots. If you hold down the left flipper this lights the right ramp for the super skill shot and the up post is not raised on plunge. The up post is also used at various times during the game and multiballs. I honestly don’t know the rules around when it is up and down with those but could test it on my machine
I do have the up post – acording to the rules the only time it is up is during a right orbit shot during super pops.

Daryl, this is looking great so far! Before the “stay at home” scenario we visited an arcade in a neighboring city and this was my wife’s favorite table.
I am still having issues with the PuPPack on my 2 screen setup (one for playfield, the other for BG and DMD). I continue to tweak and change script settings but still not displaying properly and/or having hidden screens. If anyone has a similar setup and can share your findings it would be appreciated.

At this time .. disable the bg and position the dmd onto your backglass. (via the script)

2. Seems to take a long time between when a ball drains and when the next ball is launched into the plunger lane.#2 .. since you arent seeing the videos you are not seeing the bonus completed page .. oh and for those who have not found the easter egg… a dual flipper press will skip thru the bonus complete animation

please make a vpx version the pinup system is so hard to set up I hate it the people who make these things should think about other people you need to be a computer programmer to work out the pinup system
VPX by itself, simply doesnt have the dmd capabilities required to make this possible. I am not a pnup user but was able to quickly make this work. I installed the pinup thing and did the configure. Done.
