hmm..

so when i play fx3 and doflinx FP tables, my undercabs are working, so that proves the doflinx.ini is working for atleast those, right?  unfortunately i am getting noting from my solenoid board.  any suggestions on how to test those or a good table that uses lots of beacons, shaker, gear, fan, knocker

so it has been days since i had any issues with the dmd disappearing.  I am using the same setup, dmd on onboard graphics, i did reload popper.  I did add back in all bg videos and images.  In the playfield folder i only had table videos for popper media.  tonight i added back in the table images and the first table, the dmd disappeared.  why would it only not like table images???  wierd, guess i have about 600 videos to record…

got everything FP and FX3 related, thanks for all your guys hard work for my enjoyment!

Wanna make sure i understand dof and doflinx, FP doflinx tables use doflinx..ultimate tables do not, but why are they listed in the config tool?

I also am trying to test the portion of my doflinx ini for all my solenoids.  Strangly, all my ledwiz assignments were 2xx numbers even though its the first board listed in dof.  it was like that last time i set it up.  my MX is the second board and my sainsmart is the third board.  not sure what assignment to give fans, gear, knocker, 3xx or 4xx, but i was looking at the tables and nothing is assigned for anything in FP and FX3 for anything less the mx and undercab.  I tried to use fx3 jaws as an example and put “ON” in the fan and i think it should have just turned on when the table launched but it never did.  Is there a way to test the doflinx.ini file?

I tried them in future pinball folder and then bam folder.  I ran as admin and then double clicked the exe and moved and resized then closed.  Doesn’t pop up

fixed it, thanks @terryred.  the only thing i have left to do is setup future dmd.  a im having a hell of a time, its not triggering.  is that the most current program to get a dmd on the 3rd screen and does that work on doflinx and ultimate tables?

@terryred, the next day when I fired up my cab doflinx flashed on my MX lights and everything is working now.  Thanks.  So ultimate tables don’t use doflinx?  Do they have any kind of dof ?

in the video you said twice to run doflinx as admin but in the guide it says no.  can you clarify.  I got FP to work but only after i double clicked on the doflinx.exe.  do i need to set that to run at startup or should it come on when FP is selected.  I also dont have fx3 working with doflinx so thats the next hurdle @terryred, thanks

@terryred , just reinstalled FP and Pinevent.  all in one guide was great.

i had a bunh of other questions that i answered by reading.. this is the last one. i have my fire button, vpx lockbarkey, set in vpx to be a fire button and launch.  for FP, it seems that it can only be 1.  i have it set to special 1 and it works, but table that have a ball launch instead of plunger dont for launch.  any suggestions

@terryred @nailbuster I think I found the problem.  I added back playfield and BG videos and had no problem.  Then I added a BG . Png and the dmd failed.  If the table had a png image for the PF or BG the dmd stops running.

@terryred, the secondary problem is that my 1080 won’t recognize the DisplayPort unless I go into windows displays and hit detect numerous times.  Brandon had me run display driver uninstall and last night it worked.  All 3 screens came up at the same time.  My 1080 had 3 DP, 1 hdmi and 1 dvi.  I restarted multiple times last night and all was good.  This morning it’s back to not recognizing DP on my gtx1080.  The problem was, last night when it was working, the full dmd underlay still stopped with all screens running on 1 card.  This morning I went back to running dmd on the onboard graphics card and with no media in popper except full dmd underlay they stayed on.  I agree that this all happened when I changed cards but what’s the fix.  I don’t use any other graphics programs

Ah sorry bro.  Was so happy that the video card was working wanted to call and thank you.  Hopefully more people that have the problem speak up and we can figure this out
