I have tried and failed just about every attempt that I can think to make this work. It is the only table I have never been able to make work. I have applied the patch with no luck. Updated b2s server, ran everything as admin and without. Nothing seems to make this work. I would really appreciate some help if possible. Still get the error unable to create texture: E_OUTOFMEMORY (0x800700e: Ran out of memory) at c:\projects\vp10\renderdevice.cpp:1297.

You should list all the things you have tried that way we are not all trying to guess what you’ve already done

      You try without Backglass

      Without Puppack

In video preferences in the VP you have Lowered the Max texture and element detail level

maybe I should have said that I “thought” I tried everything. I lowered the max texture and it worked. I hope this helps others as well. Thank you.

very cool. I may have done something wrong installing? triggers for ball out and others not working? I get a backglass with video and songs but other triggers do nothing and no playfield sounds?

Those lights are for something like an LEDWiz

Do you have a link to where you bought them?

The 12v is Positive and the G R B are the negatives

Example the 12v positive is always hook up and with a LEDwiz it would turn the GRB (negative) on and off depending on what color it’s calling for

lights for addressable only have 3 points of contact Positive, negative and data

Lots of info — See 58 and 65

I also have an led wiz type set up. So I could run them through that using dof to turn them on and off?

I have a question on this and I’m sorry in advance if I missed the answer in the forum already. I have read how to hook these up but most of the strips I have seen described have only one green DIN cable. All of the lights I have purchased have the power, ground and then red blue and green wires. Do I just hook up a data wire to each of those and then to ground as described in other tutorials? Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey that’s me! Mike Berry here. Someone gave me a tip about this forum and so I joined and…

I am [somewhat casually] selling the ThunderClap DOF contactors on eBay. Casual as in not too much promotion or marketing but I saw a need and am trying to fill it. It is a hobby, not my path to fame and wealth.

When I looked for DOF haptic solutions I came up empty. Everyone was searching eBay for used Siemens contactors. Since they aren’t very loud guys were using 2 of them to get what they wanted. This didn’t seem right. OEM manufacturers also can’t put in used parts.

Also some solutions weren’t safe. “Ford” 12V relays aren’t rated for continuous excitation and so can overheat. Something else was really needed.

Contactors aren’t naturally suited for the job VPin people are asking them to do. They are designed to bring a set of electrical contacts together. These contacts are on flexible copper and so the movement has a “soft landing”, not conducive to making noise. The movements are also inside an enclosure which mutes noise.

My design starts with a massive 24 VDC coil (7.2 oz copper) and adds a bottom “stator” 4.8 oz and a top “actuator” 3.4 oz. Lose the enclosure and you have a really loud clacker. Whole thing weighs in at about a pound. It takes special shipping considerations which I learned the hard way. Continuous operation is OK so no danger there.

I’ll add more information as time allows.

I’ve dropped your name quite a bit. I really liked the product :good:

I got these installed and I’m not disappointed. They seem like they will last for a long time. You can play around with where and how they are mounted to get the sound you want. Solid product.

Such a nice table thank you! I don’t seem to have DOF working for pop bumpers and slings? Maybe something I need to change in script. Running latest DOF.

I’m trying to get my MOTU on screen dmd sent to my real dmd via script through dmdext. Can I use the new PUPDMDControl.exe somehow? That looks better anyway. I have this if “[GAMENAME]”==”Masters of the Universe 1_0b” (
                                        start /min “” “dmdext.exe” mirror –source=screen –use-ini -q -d pindmdv3 –no-virtual” which obviously does not work.

I have a very strange problem. I installed popper and had everything working including this grabber. I spend hours adding all of my media and now the FX3 dmd in game does not work? I took the plunge and started from scratch. Again, everything worked fine until I added all of my media files through the editor. What could be going on here?
