Ok, it’s finished. I’ve sent the file to Coindropper who will update the thread with the new version as soon as he has time.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the table in it’s initial release form – I hope I’ve done it justice.
Cheers – Dozer.

It’s 99% done folks but there’s one last issue to sort out with the davey jones locker ramp and the main left ramp which allows successful completion of the sneak attack shot. I’m working on that now and will upload to Coindropper once finished. Will keep you posted in this thread. Haunt supplied a couple of physics tweaks as well and the table is playing great.

Sorry. I meant no disrespect
None taken – it’s nearly done, should be ready for an upload later tonight or tomorrow morning.

I have noticed 2 issues in playing this
- About once per game on average the ball will kind hover or float at the top of the left inlane and then rapidly accelerate down to the flipper
- this might be a rom issue or a pinmame issue but it seems to be impossible to select letters for high score initials.
Any my one have any ideas?
thanks again for a fun table
The flipper subs were activating the flippers manually and bypassing vpm – this and the physics issue with the floating ball has been fixed.

This game does have red GI but they aren’t isolated like Space Station or Party Zone. The top GI string is supposed to be the top GI + all the red ones I think.
Thanks for the info nFozzy – I found video earlier on that shows this better than the one I’d been using as a reference. I’ll make the changes.

I’ve made a tonne of updates to this game and it should be pretty much finished in a day or so – I thought the release looked great but it was missing heaps of stuff. The Youtube link below looks washed out because I used their editor to brighten it up a bit. The actual game looks more subdued.
I’ll dropbox it when it’s done and you can either post it as a new version or increment the version number. I’ve also removed some things like the red GI and opted for a more accurate approach so maybe post it as a new version if you plan to continue with the development of the current release.

I got around to installing this tonight and just wanted to thank you for such a beautiful table.
The lighting is fantastic and I’m really loving the physics and feel of the thing.
Cheers – Dozer.

I think you’ll find that’s just the way the environmental image renders light across the frame.
The image used and the material are the same so it’s not actually black, it’s just dimly lit.
Thank you very much Dozer for the update of the year. The new size of the desktop view with sidewalls and lights are perfect. Only one question left: why is the right metal border black?<

Did a quick Test, and get no Videos, installed VLC 32bit, PuP Test ok, latest VPX Beta, Video manualy Play, all in /Table Folder (Folder PuPVideos and the PuP Files), registered as Admin, … but get nothing in Game … of Course, Table work with directb2s and ROM
You might need to direct that issue to the original release PUP thread STAT.
Terry and the developer of PUP are probably monitoring that thread more than this one as this is just a mod of the released table.

Hi there, I tried out this table. I am also using the latest 10-4 beta. None of the light mods work. Does this require the latest SAM 3 as well? I am still using 2.8 as the 3 makes the DMD stutter and the tables slow.
Not sure about SAM versions – I know I am running the latest version and it may be the version you have does not include support for Tron LE. Try upgrading and see if you get any joy.

Wow, I didn’t even check desktop mode while I was putting this together – I don’t think about it because of having a cabinet. Will take a quick look today and see how bad it looks – yikes!

I’ve uploaded a zip version of the file with a different compression prog. Try that and let me know how it goes. I can’t upload uncompressed here, the VPX file extension is not allowed. If the zip version is problematic too I’ll upload an uncompressed version to mega when I’m on my other PC.

You might have to upgrade your version of Winrar STAT – the file is fine.

Nice one guys, it turned out great.
I’ll be checking through Rob’s code to see if I can optimize it because he tends to be a bit loose with his timer subs :)

(and of course so that I can advance my fiendish plan of having ‘Poor Man’s DOF’ take over THE WORLD! Mwahah…. Mwahahahaha!!! <evil laugh right there)
You’re welcome mate – thanks for testing it, it was very helpful to squash the bugs.
Hope you get some fun games in.

Table is uploaded – I had to post to VPF to respect JP’s wishes of mods based on his tables being uploaded there.

Wip 8 I think :)
Flupper’s ramps are in and they look fantastic.
Spent the morning relighting some areas and there were a few geometry updates required to compensate for differing heights.
Will spent the next day or so adding a coupe of other bits and pieces and then it should be ready for a release.
