That freaking looks like the actual table… lol. Amazing models.
I’m super excited for this one. Favorite table.

Sorry you are having so much trouble with it.
Bright side is you may get a new video card out of it. :)

Hey Anders… it could be a driver issue. A lot of times on forums for video games you will see guys with newer, powerful cards complaining that the game is running bad for them and it can be a problem with the driver and that software. That’s just one possibility, but something to consider.

@drybonz Was that blazing saddles?
Nope… Woody Allen movie. Blazing Saddles is a classic though. :)

I have used mine for years… it came from a Woody Allen movie I was watching while I was trying to think up a screen name for a game (Quake maybe?). If anyone can guess the movie you get a gold mega-star.

On a side note, thanks for giving an old legacy game some love… it’s the first one I know of for VPX, and I think it’s really cool to play a recreation of a table that is so old I will probably never even have a chance to see it. :)
This table is from the year my mom was born. Pretty cool.

Ok, that’s what I meant by manual loader… lift… haha. I was using the wrong key, let me try the ctrl.
*edit* That was the key… thanks. Looks like you can load two balls at once… I didn’t realize that. So, you asked about testing the tilt. I just hammered the nudge keys repeatedly and I don’t see a tilt indicator, but it looks like the bumpers, etc stop working for that ball. I’m guessing that’s how the tilt works on an old table?

Well, on 2653, the balls leave the trough but one doesn’t load… is there a manual loader? I tried “a” (I thought was the default) and “l” which I thought I had mapped to at one point.
Sorry for the trouble.

Hmm… I thought I had it. Sorry. I’ll double check for a new one. I’m on 2649.
*edit* Ah man… 2653. You are bleeding edge. :)

Hey randr… just tested the 2.7… My start game doesn’t seem to be working and I don’t see any balls in the trough (I’m coming from 2.1, seems like I remember seeing them in the trough before the game starts, could be wrong). I’m in FS.

I don’t know much about the PROC versions yet… just started reading about it. How will it affect us… will these versions play normally in VPX? What enhancements does it offer?

I got a big boost in VPX recently by turning off the AA in-app and turning on through the nvidia control panel. It really smoothed out the handful of games that still had stutter. I’m sure it’s YMMV and won’t work for everyone, but it’s worth a try. It was the thing that made the most difference for me in the final tweaking stages. :)

Ah ok… I can do the reconstruction, actually… I have some photoshop ability… but unfortunately, I don’t have the good camera.

I’m probably way out of my league here, but what method do you guys use to scan tables? I have a place pretty close to me that has a Fish Tales table. I’m not even sure if they would like me scanning it, but let me know where to start. I may not be able to do it, but I would like to try to do something to contribute.

Looks nice… these threads make me want to build one, but it’s not in the cards. :)

Looks great… time spent figuring out the bloom issue paid off… you handled those blue balls. Looks like you turned down the lighting intensity? I think it looks better… more natural.

I was playing this table today… looks great. Was really happy to find it as I did not see it uploaded anywhere else.
I know it is beta and you are still working on it… one thing I did notice is that there is a weird lighting effect along the left side and upper left corner. Is there a setting I can use to soften that light?
Graphics on the PF and objects look really crisp and nice.

Thanks for the link… I’m not sure why I thought it said Astro… I must have been thinking of the backglass. Sorry about that.
