I can run with this and finish it if you think it’s on the right track.

I’ve had a lot of fun testing this table, and contributing my adjustments and “complaints” so that the virtual table plays as close to the real table as I could get it.  I’ll likely have a few more suggestions for future releases.

Here’s an important question for everyone here….  “CAN YOU ESCAPE”?   If you don’t already know, these are the things you need to do:
1 – build some bonus (not actually required, but good for your score), then hit the three drop targets.

2- when you drop the final target, you’ll hear a voice say “You Can Escape!”  This starts the timer, which is indicated by the flashing lights in front of the three drop targets.  They go from solid to flashing to off.  This is about 30 seconds.

3 – get the ball up to the top left flipper, then hit the ball across the Golden Bridge to the top right flipper.

4- Hit the ball from the top left flipper to to the flashing blue escape door.  Its the same path as a full plunge, but a diverter will now send the ball into the escape tunnel rather than back to the top right flipper.

I know this will work, because I’ve made all of the shots individually, but I’ve never actually escaped from the Lost World in the VP version.  Who will be the first??

I have it.  It’s not in the best condition.  What do you need?  Feel free to PM me.

Great software!  One question… I prefer my media files to be named the same as the “Display Name”, not named as the “Table Name”.  Is there a way to change the media file naming to use the “Display Name”?

I’ve played the real version of this table *A LOT* in the last 10 years.  I can’t praise the realism and physic enough!  It will be fun to share it with my friend that owns the real one after the Corona-virus thing has passed to see what he thinks.

I played with the settings on the flippers a bit to see if I can get make my percentage of completed ramp shots close to what I remember.  I did increase the power just less than 10%, and that seems to get it closer to the experience on both the left and right flipper (yes, you can backhand the ramp from the right flipper).

One thing I noticed but couldn’t tweak is the angle of the ball as it comes out of the upper scoop (Sarcophagus).  When the right flipper is held, the ball should hit above the tip of the flipper and roll up the flipper a bit.  Currently it bounces off the tip of the flipper, often going right back into the Sarcophagus scoop, which I don’t recall happening on the real table.

This is awesome, Onevox.  I love your Clash table and really appreciate all of the attention to detail and custom work.  I’ll be watching this thread.

I’m told “the head rotates when the balls lock”.  From memory, the head also moves back and forth during multiball when Frankenstein throws the balls onto the table.  I’m guessing this would all be controlled from the ROM.  We don’t believe there is head movement when the ball hits targets around the playfield.

I just tested the slingshot-flippers and really like them!  I like how the ball may go through the air very slightly…. very realistic.

So I heard from my friend that owns the real table re: studying how the head moves.  You can’t make stuff like this up, but his daughter returned home from overseas, and needs to be quarantined for two weeks, so they won’t let anyone (including their own family) into their furnished basement until 2 weeks have passed.  So it will probably be like 10 or more days before they would let me check out the machine.

I’ve reached out to my friend.  The last time we played it, the display went blank, and when we went to open it up to check things out he couldn’t find the key.  We’ll see how this goes.

I can’t get this backglass to work.  Does something need to change in the table script?

I have the table, but am not sure where I downloaded it.  I would guess it was from vpinball though.  Maybe the author pulled it down?  The author credits in the table info are allknowing2012.

My friend has the real table, so I should have access if there are specific questions about how the head moves.
