I agree about clicking on screenshots but I have yet to get that working. I’ve tried and it’s still on the list of things to do.

You’re doing a great job Randr. This is the place I need for my daily addiction. If VPF is down, it “hurts”, but, when this site was offline I felt like I lost contact with my friends. I know, we all have account on VPF, but, still. Vpinball is my #1. So, please, don’t mess with cache anytime soon
And, I should add – the main reason for me enjoying this site is the way you run it Jason ( with the helpers you’ve picked )

Well when you are feeling frisky again, I have a suggestion. I think it would be nice if there were two carousels on the front page, the “recent uploads” one (only a lot smaller) and then one with just random VPX tables. Seems that some tables have been out for awhile and maybe they could use some highlight for those that didn’t know/didn’t look for them.

Well I am switching from VPS to dedicated server in hopes things will run much better. I have not changed anything and still not happy with how things are running. This should be a huge performance gain and if this don’t help i will switch host’s. but will try this last attempt first.
Sorry about issues i know it sucks but i will make this work one way or another just somethings i have no control over.
Switch from VPS to dedicated server will happen in next 24hours.

I had some time outs and very slow DL’s yesterday
but got better as the night went on…

Haunts right as I see slowness to in evening it’s the worst. It really could be Comcast but they will never admit a routing issue. Still working on switching servers amazing how many settings need to be changed but I’ll fet the job done and then we will see what happens

I’ve not seen those issues. My downloads have been very fast. But while you’re at it, make sure you upgrade PHP and clear the cache!

Yeah some people don’t have issues. Is why I suspect a Comcast problem or something in routing :(

There is a better tool than ping – pathping that can be used to analyze. It does some samples over time instead of single trace. What is the exact issue that you guys are trying to resolve ? Slow downloads or … ?
