I am messing with the script and it seems I’m having a little success. I had the taget puple as it should be but I had a white drop shadow so I didn’t save it. Now I’m having trouble finding the drop targets it Options. I’m Seeing Ball options and Table option but not the drop target option. When I get this right I will read about other options as this was always my favorite table. I never seemed to be looking when anyone had it for sale. Now I love VPX and the pup packs but I do still play Sinbad. Thank-you again, I’ll let you know if I get this right.

I’ll try to change it. I copy and pasted the Sinbad VPX Mod by Kruge99 and it has the white 2 target as well. Are there any available that don’t have. I know about Sultan by JPsalas and I do have that as well but it only has two flippers at the bottom and not the four flippers  as the Sinbad table does that I played in the past. The only versions of Sinbad I can find with no white target are VPT files, noy VPX

I never got it to work so I returned it.

I may buy one again in the future but for now I can’t be much help, sorry.

I hope you manage to  get it going. I’m sure it doable I just didn’t have the patients.

I will try again sometime for sure.

I’m really hoping Virtual Desktop will help go or quest access the vr tables available here. I also hope the orange light issue with the rift s is an easy fix with an adapter.

I love the idea of running vr tables that I find here but this vr issue has been a real headache.

Hi and thank-you for your input,

I have sent the oculus rift s back but I still want one or maybe a quest. I’ve researched this from a different angle and found out they have a problem. One think I hadn’t mentioned was an orange light on the inside of the headset. That is telling you something is wrong. It seems the rift s has a problem with the usb plug. Here is a cutting from a forum.

On this topic can anyone post a link to the kind of adapter he is referring to. I don’t understand what he is saying….

Also Loafer you made mention about loving the quest. I’d like to know more. Can you run the steam app on your computer and play the games on your quest. What do you know about using the virtual desktop. I have already purchased it on the likelihood it will be great with the go or quest.

Hi everyone,

As people have mentioned here, this is a USB issue.
I have around 70 Oculus Rift S out there, on the same Windows update (1909), same laptop models, same Oculus App version, same Nvidia drivers, connected to the same networks, etc…

And yet for some reason only a third of them have this issue.

I haven’t found the cause yet, but I’ve found a fix.

If your computer has a USB-C port, get a USB->USB-C adapter and use that with the Rift S. Reboot your computer, and now everything’s green. No reinstall needed.

I’ve shipped the same adapter to ~20 clients, and it fixed the issue immediately for all of them.

I still don’t understand why it only happens on some of our machines though.

I did the test and attached the results.Everything looks great but when it gets to the display port check it just spins forever.

My graphics card is AMD RX 580x

I don’ know how to get past the dispay check just spinning

I,m going to try a few other things before I have to send back the Oculus Rift S I bought before I do anything. It sounds like tohe go is not something I want.

A friend at work tells me Acus computers…thats what I have … sometimes have cheap Display port connections. I will try an adapter and connect it to an HDMI outlet.

Does anyone know if something like that  may work?

Sorry, this is a little off topic  but I am trying to find a way to play these tables with my “Acer VR ready Computer”

That sounds like a good idea. is their a set up on the forums for the tilt bob. It seems like an good and inexpensive fix if it is easy to set up.

What about a Slam Tilt Switch are they basically the same?

Thank-you for your input. I will try to figure this out. So far I have tried higher numbers with the box checked and it hasn’t made a difference either way. I don’t know what is wrong but it won’t tilt there must be some other setting I’m not enabling.  I will keep trying higher numbers but there has to be anouther setting somewhere.

This has fixed my ability to nudge the table and it’s working very well.

While I’m working on this, do you know of a setting for the tilt. I see tilt sensitivity and I have it set to 2 and it still won’t tilt.

Is there somewhere else I need to change something.

This is great, you have been so much help. I am able to set up most of my tables  now that I’ve learned a few settings I wasn’t aware of.

I set it to window mode and in dmddevice.ini I moved it to where I want. I do have a new problem though. I cant seem to get rid of the dmd in tables that dont use it like sinbad it shows up and runs even if there id no info. It doesnt show up in the vpx of captain fantastic  so it must be removed in the script or maybe an em factor.

I have set the show dmd to false and hidden to 1. What do I need to do to remove it from these tables.

I think this is an external dmd and not the vp dmd (as per pinup player setup) can I have it only show when I need it and not on tables like sinbad that have active counters in the b2s
