Hi there,
In my simple testing, I found I could avoid the table flare by changing the Ball type in the script. I changed away from the Glowing version to the Normal ball type.
'************************ 'Glowball '************************* Dim ChooseBall : ChooseBall = 0 ' *** Ball Settings ********** ' *** 0 = Normal Ball ' *** 3 = Blue GlowBall ' *** 6 = Green Glowball ' *** 7 = Light blue Glowball ' *** 8 = Red Glowball
I am testing if I can change it back but for now, No Glow, No Flare!
Hope that helps someone.

Awesome table! Good work but every once and a while when the table starts the screen does what is in the image. Again great table! Mancow!
Did the flaring of the lights get addressed somewhere?
I was wondering if there is a setting in Future Pinball or elsewhere to be changed.
Any help with the lights flare is appreciated!

Happy New Year!
My table loads and then migrates to this same Problem/Feature within 5-15 seconds. The picture is full of these glowing orbs invading the screen.
It is interesting that the table will play but it looks terrible in this mode.
Looking forward to version 2.0 of the table when the problem is fixed. Or tell me where to change the script and I will change it up.
thank you!

I actually WANT no music while playing for when I eventually make a PuP-Pack!==============
Now that a Pup Pack is available (that’s how I came to get this table), how do I change the table from using a Backglass file to actually using the Pup Pack itself. Not clear to me if I change the script or not.
I did rename/remove prior Lord of the Rings B2S files that were in the Tables directory. No joy.
I am testing the configuration by launching this table from VP. If there is a step I missed, sorry but I don’t know what needs to be done.
I have seen Terry’s nice YouTube basics of Pinup Player, Popper, PuP packs and so on. Just missing the part about telling VPX tables when to use B2S vs PuP. I am citing this table as an example since the LOTR PuP just came out.
Any constructive comments are welcome!

Not having a problem like that. But I am getting an error trying to use the Batman Forever rom. I downloaded ‘batmanf.zip’ from VP Forums and the table still gives an error.
<span style=”font-family: courier new, courier, monospace;”>”Machine ‘batmanf’ (Batman Forever (4.0)) terminated before initialized, check the rom path or rom file!”</span>
Not sure where the error is coming from. The VP9 table called Batman Forever seems to like this rom.

Hello there,
A little late to this table but very impressed with the Backglass work.
Question: Are the directions in your RTF file intended to allow for randomly selecting the Backglass file to display?
I see multiple B2S file to choose from in the ZIP file.
If the ScoreType is set to UltraDMD, how does changing the script at lines 164/165 allow for selecting the Backglass file to be shown.
- add this at line 164/165
Randomize
Dim Controller: Set Controller = CreateObject(“B2S.Server”): Controller.Run
I look forward to your reply.

August 9, 2020 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Editing Table Views, View Property Database/Library/Repository #194799I’ve been using VPX for a couple months now and assembled 350 tables and backglasses. I use PinUp Popper for menuing my choices.
I built a two-screen cabinet (one 1920 x 1080 playfield monitor and a 1280 x 1024 backglass monitor
I ended up messing up the viewpoint of every table. That’s right, I somehow changed the viewpoint/view-mode of EVERY TABLE, and it’s quite a large number. The only thing that I think may have caused this is that I was using the B2S_ScreenResEditor.exe in order to set the backglass screen resolution and after I did that, the next time I opened the tables they ran in the “desktop” view.
So for a few tables I went in and unchecked “Test Desktop” and that seemed to orient them in a cabinet friendly way (XY Rotation of 270).
The problem is that the setting did not ‘stick’. The next time I would load the table, Test Desktop would be checked again.
This is what I’m asking: Is there an easy way to change the view properties of every table en masse?
“First off make sure you have checked ‘Use always FS (fullscreen} backdrop settings‘ checked in the Video/Graphics Options of the Preference menu in Visual Pinball X.
This response helped me quite a bit!
I had been looking for POV changes and through spreadsheets of POV settings. Glad to read I did not have to make any other changes once I used this setting.
Thanks again!

Very good!
Having the PuP pack original contents to start with now shows videos and scores on the backglass screen. I did save the modified files that I had already placed in the ‘mmunsters’ folder of PuPvideos.
I was not sure that that URL was correct since it is titled ‘Media Pack Only’. And searching for ‘Munsters puppack’ as a search string fails to find this reference.
I appreciate your time showing me these references. Hopefully I can serve as an example for the next person who asks about the Munsters PuP Pack.

Thank you very much for letting me know that this Table does not need a B2S backglass file.
My challenge now is finding the original Pup pack for the Munsters. I could not find that PupPack here on VPinball and VPuniverse that I could make sense out of. Good people here have supplied variations of videos within the pack. I would like the original pack I guess.
I learned about Sebcemoi’s modified folder from his post.
MUNSTERS – 2 screens alternate PUP Vidéo BG Stern Style
- his directions here to replace the ‘mmunsters’ folder in the proper place helped me see the backglass file when the table is played
However, I see that the third screen keeps the score, and plays other videos during table play.
Any suggestions on showing that screen over the backglass video? or, replacing the backglass screen?
As always, I appreciate your positive comments and suggestions.

Just like Mozzie, I have a Munsters setup question –Totally enjoying this Visual Pinball.
I built my own cabinet with two screens, no topper.
So far I have just put basic games on with matching B2S backglass files and all is going well. Some UltraDMD tables as well.
But struggling with Munsters. When I play the table straight out of VP, there is no backglass to keep score on.
I have PinUpMenu running with video files for the backglass animation, playfield animation and wheel file. And I know how to re-record my play over these files once I get the table to play properly.
I have read most of the posts here. I have to do something for a 2 screen setup but just don’t understand what B2S Backglass is needed.
Any help would be appreciated as the table looks fantastic
Thanks!

Hi there,
Someone else with more experience will correct me if I am wrong.
I believe you need CONTROLLER.VBS in your Script folder of Visual Pinball.
