Perfect gameplay, all what I need now, is a color rom. That would be fantastic.

April 7, 2020 at 2:25 pm #171121April 7, 2020 at 2:47 pm #171125Oh no. We won’t never be able to make these machines perfect. You might like the update – or not. There where a few issues that I’ve fixed on my side a while back. Let’s call it me, experimenting :)

April 7, 2020 at 4:42 pm #171155Great update. I was using another version that was poor graphic quality. Your version is much higher resolution and plays more realistic to me. Thanks for pushing this table up the favorites list!

April 7, 2020 at 8:16 pm #171177The updated table loaded smaller in size, had to adjust quite a bit with the “Y” scale and a touch with “X”. When I do that it always seems off a little and it sounds like you added some beer burp sounds in there now lol, but she still plays excellent. Thanks

April 7, 2020 at 8:28 pm #171181POV needed some tweaking on my end as well but looks fine afterward. Really like this update. Had not been spending much time with this table but will now. Thanks Thal! Only beer-burp sounds I hear have been self-generated.
Silver Star! …I’d give a Gold but it’s been stolen…

April 8, 2020 at 12:32 am #171201Yes. The pov is of course a direct export from my cab. I’m not a huge fan of round object being oval on the playfield. It is of course easy to fix the pov. Just open up the old version you’ve got. Then go to the menu and export the pov. If you save it exactly like the name of the new version and it is kept in the same folder as the table. You don’t need to even import it. This works exactly like if you have table scripts in the folder. Save and the change is permanent.
Beer burp ?

April 8, 2020 at 12:55 am #171204What a lightshow!! Nice!! Only issue I have is balls stack in plunger lange at multiballs sometimes. First I thought its nice to have balls in spare after a drain. But it seems ball counter gets confused somehow. Otherwise, great mod!

April 8, 2020 at 2:14 am #171210Are we sure the balls aren’t too dark and you just can’t see them?
Punch it!

April 8, 2020 at 3:02 am #171234Yes I am sure. Looks like the plunger is too weak and the ball comes back. Then there are 2 balls in the plunger and it seems the next ball cant come out at all and messes up the counter. The game ended up with no balls on the table and ball search without finds. My cab was strange yesterday anyway (“whitewater” Flippers without function, too), I will try again today

April 8, 2020 at 3:09 am #171235Ah. Ok – that makes sense – I’ll have a look at it. It’s not that. Sterns are known for having issues with auto plunger, but, I never did try to emulate this problem ;)

April 8, 2020 at 7:32 am #171246@makmak : Trough tests seems to work just fine. So, I’m not sure why you have this problem. Maybe VP is finicky when it comes to how the plunger itself is calibrated or something ? Until I hear that others are having issues. It seems you’ll be on your own for now.

1 user thanked author for this post.
April 8, 2020 at 8:04 am #171258Tried again, too. Same problem persists. Auto plunger didnt move at all. So probably calibration as you mentioned. I’ll try to disable the mechanical plunger and use the button solely instead. Will report if it solved the problem.

April 8, 2020 at 8:13 am #171259There are two things that can create such a situation AFAIK:
- Are you certain you are on latest VP10.6 final and that there are no older VBS files located elsewhere?
- Some people’s nudge settings can affect physics like this (or having a game pad plugged in). Assuming you are on a pincab and you have a nudging board, disable the nudging in VP (or unplug the nudging board) and then try the table again. If the problem still persists, it’s possibly a calibration issue. If the problem is still there, then I have no freakin idea.

April 8, 2020 at 12:23 pm #171278I have found two vbs-files in a kiss UltraDMD folder . But deleting them had no effect. Disabling the plunger did the trick! Now I can enjoy your nice mod, thx!!
I rarely use the plunger, so I’ll have a look sometimes later , if its a calibration thing.
