nice work.a great table(i prefer more songs of the first lp for to be a perfect table)
now i can do two of my favorites hobbys:

That’s super, Thalamus. Thanks Toxie and Carny. This has inspired me to continue to improve The Clash. Thalamus helping with SSF, plus lighting improvements (trying Fuzzel and Hauntfreaks techniques), eventually I hope to work on better meshes. (I’ve asked randr about adding ‘clash’ to DOFConfigTool.)

Getting a GameName not found on line 82. I have confirmed the clash.zip file is in the ROM directory. The clash.zip tests fine so it isn’t corrupt.
If I change
‘Const cGameName = “rock_enc”
Const cGameName = “clash”to:
Const cGameName = “rock_enc”
‘Const cGameName = “clash”the table is working and plays fine otherwise.

I had the same error Line 82. Updated Pinmame SamBuild_R4637 and problem went away.

Update your VPM. Only by getting the new VPM will it recognize the new “hacked” rom. clash.zip.

I’ve updated the post to note the SAMBuild version requirement. If you see “ROCK AND ROLL LIVES” (ugh!) on your scoring display, the ‘clash’ ROM changes that to “THIS IS RADIO CLASH” while the radio tuning SFX is playing.

Looking forward to get home to play his one. Since the first release it takes me back to being 18 or somewhere near. I remember going around for most of you guys very small town with a “walkman” in my pocked playing the coool stuff from England :)
This release with the once again “proper” left spinner sound is just a awesome – proving me wrong on some of my statements earlier that a table could/should be changed when you “hack” the rom. It is based on for me at least not very well known table “Rock Encore” and JP as always did a very good job in re-creating it. However. I must admit, with this mod, it will be the table of choice over the original.

Scoring is not showing up for me. Not on Backglass or DMD. Anyone else missing scoring? Running the Latest SamBuild. DMDext kicks on when table loads but nothing appears.

I’m running a Virtual DMD. This is the only table with scoring not showing up issue. It is showing on Backglass now (Was hidden) Thank you . “Use external DMD” I get nothing on my Virtual DMD. I can get the standard DMD if I check “Show DMD/Display Window”. Is external DMD supported with this table?

@onevox like i wrote you in private this is a Freezy dll issue. I opened a issue on his github which can found here:

Solution for now for monitor users:
– in vpinmame uncheck show dmd
– in vpinmame uncheck use external dmd
– in backglas set grill what you prefere
– in backglas set dmd hidden
– in backglas set b2sdmd visible
– setup b2sdmd correct either via b2ssetup in tables folder or via screenres.txtYou need to login in order to like this post: click here

Get the hacked ROM file on the download page “clash.zip” … and as Thalamus says, update to latest sambuild. I think currently r4682
