Got a couple trail cams two for 80 bucks(40 bucks each) notice i said “bucks” ha ha
anyways after a couple weeks we have seen raccoons, Fox, coyotes, rabbits, beaver, badgers, deer you name it all infront of my back garage!
Funny thing is when @hauntfreaks was over and we headed down to look at my cars we both about got attacked by deer leaving the garage so thats what made me decide to get the trail cams to see what the heck is going on in the back yard!
I will post a few links to videos(night IR) but in daylight the video is clear and full 1080 color.
Anyways very cool for the price we also see lots of smaller things like birds, squirrels and stuff like that but usually during day

October 28, 2018 at 1:04 am #101871Just be happy they are not bears…
Actually, deer love flowers, and from the time I was living in the backwoods, especially seem to adore roses, as I caught a few of them munching on them. Never saw them eat acorns, but maybe their food source is really drying up. I live in a city now, but on visits to my local arcade, I’ve seen a couple of them literally just walking around in broad daylight right down a main road.

October 28, 2018 at 8:44 am #101879Well we’ve only had it a couple weeks so who knows what else we will catch on it…maybe bears! It is a neat to see what’s going on back there.
We do have ring flood lights and a ring doorbell so we can see out front door, behind house and in pool area but this is much farther in back yard so I wish there was an easier way to actually view images rather then pulling the flash card out! Wifi would be so nice but then it’s no longer 40 bucks more like $250

October 28, 2018 at 2:39 pm #101905We have loads of Bears…not much in Ottawa now…but my previous posting near Petawawa has lots of them. If you dont lock up you Garbage dumpsters at work they will get in there, even with the metal doors closed! We use to get the weekly reminder that the bears are back. :)

October 28, 2018 at 9:31 pm #101993So do I on the west coast. In fact, it’s so bad that people in North Vancouver are not allowed to put out their garbage before 5 in the morning on garbage collection day, or they can be subjected to heavy fines, which are enforced. Couple months ago, a lady heard a huge crash from her kitchen and walked in to come face to face with a Black Bear helping himself to her fridge. Apparently she just had a screen door closed, not the main door. Animal control had to wait a couple hours until the bear fell asleep before they were able to trank it. Imagine that one. :)

December 9, 2018 at 9:58 pm #106226That is what a wolf tail looks like, a lot of dogs’ tails will curl upwards towards the end. I can’t see the paws because of the snow, wolves have larger paws than dogs. I’m no expert, though, I just googled the differences.
