is there a reason for the distorted sound and crackle on this table. maybe i have a rom defect.? i have installed the full set from this forum

I would like to give some feedback on playing the table for a day now.
I only do this as I know the table is still under development, not to criticize.
First off, it looks great and I can only imagine what a big work it must be to get it all together. What an inspiration and great talent.
Some things I noticed that I feel would make it even better:
– there are luls (long pauses) in the gameplay for call outs, especially the end of ball bonus count takes very long. If these call outs would be way quicker it would improve the flow of the table a lot in my opinion.
At the moment, it breaks the rhythm a bit.
– Voice call outs: Is that Terry Red’s voice? It sounds great but perhaps a bit over used in frequency?
– Where is the “Zap button” that is frequently referred to?

I’ve managed to get this table working fine now on the latest vpx software VPX6setup/VPX_7_beta_rev4134/VPinMAME33_beta (3) and the latest Windows 10 build 2024 released the other day.

That sure looks like 1 screen — did I say you needed had to have 2 or 3 screens? Please tell me you have a 2nd screen.

Some people have gotten PUP packs to work on one screen but the normal installation for PUP packs is for 2nd or 3rd screen users. Hope someone who runs these on single screen can assist you with your questions, unfortunately I’m in the same boat as the majority as the dev of this table: we are multi screen users, so very difficult to trouble shoot.

The Stern Logo is in the topper — if you want that smaller reduce the topper or turn it off/diable if you dont have one.
As for your second post – no idea what that is. Sorry.

and you can use PinUpPlayerConfigDisplays.bat to tweak your pup sizings to meet your needs. (Note this changes all your tables that use PUP)
I’m not winning here I’ve taken the settings on all entries to 300 but the score logo theme when the table starts is still way to big ?

for some odd reason this download is correct this time and all sounds are now working. i now just have to fix the score / theme overlay as its taking up half of the 24 inch monitor space.You need to login in order to like this post: click here
Oh and check the obvious .. can you play any of the sounds outside of the game? Click on anything in this directory for example..
(Your exact location may differ slightly ie. C: instead of D: for example)

i have reset from scratch my vpx set up using the latest files and am still not getting any themed sound from this table on a windows 10 desktop. i have put the media pack into the pup video folder so i have have forgotten something small ? failing to get the sound to work on this table ‘can this table be purchased does anyone know for the steam platform?

I’ve now deleted that line 8340 and no longer getting any errors ? however still no themed sounds just table sound ?

fantastic table. I’m getting a object controller error on closing the table and have no themed sounds. I’ve put the media pack in the PUPVideos but I’m sure I’ve missed something ?

Just wanted to say thanks for this table. Of the >900 in my cabinet, this is the one that gets played the most.

the problem now solved as the sound rom that I download from

has some sound files missing from the rom hence no sound
