Looks great can’t work out how to rid the rectangular stuff on the faces :(
This has got to be a non-current version of 10.6 or someone cranking up some lighting settings beyond reason. Surprised to see a couple people with this problem.
Make sure you have the final release version of VPX 10.6 and the day/night slider is where Skitso placed it.
Got the same problem, I tried on a fresh instal of VPX 10.6 final, doesn’t change anything.
I also tried on 10.6.1. But when I click passtrough on the decals, it’s slightly better. May be a way to explore?You need to login in order to like this post: click here

Thanks for your great work, I love it. :) Just one thing, am I the only one who have stuttering when the black light is on? I’m a little bit surprised since I do not have this kind of problem with any other tables, even on Knorr’s Cirqus Voltaire. I’m using the 2.4.1 version.

Hello, Bord. First thanks for this beauty! I love your work, as always. Just one thing, maybe I’m doing something wrong, I’m not able to get the same colours as your pic on the playfield. When I first launch it, it is very dark, and if I touch the environment emission, it becomes washed out. What should I do? Thanks

Place the following commands in the PinballY ‘Run after’ options for Visual PinballX:
Run after (1): taskkill /T /IM PinUpPlayer.exe
Run after (2): taskkill /T /IM PinUpDisplay.exe
This should close any PinUp Player or Display windows when exiting a PinballY table.
Thanks for your help, but I then get a com server warning and nothing is closing.
I had the same issue.
I had not used Pinupplayer since I had some file corruption on my Hard drive. I thought I had restored everything. I updated to Pupplayer 1.4.4 so I would have the latest ( I don’t use DOF). Harry Potter table ran fine with sound and backglass and videos. But when I tried some older tables Tron and Avatar I had no pupplayer output at all. Turned out that My plugins folder in my tables directory was gone. I recreated it and made the link back to pinupsystem B2s folder and now everything is working again..
Oh by the way.. This table is fantastic, Well done!!

Hello, first, thanks A LOT for this incredible masterpiece, I love it. I’m not into Harry Potter, but anyway, I cannot stop playing this great table. :P So again, a big thank you! My only problem is I cannot close pinupplayer in PinballY, only on this table (Transformer, Tron, Jaws, etc work perfectly.). I even tried the kill script from MJR and then I get an invalid pointer error. No problem when I use only VPX. I tried 0.49 and 0.50, with and without realDMD, with and without DOF. When I used 0.39, however, everything was fine about the exit to PinballY.
Still have this problem with the 0.52. Someone would have an idea to try?
Be absolutely sure you are using the latest pupb2s driver. Depending on when / how you installed pup you may not have it.

If after installing that (be sure files are not blocked!!!) and a reboot, you still have the same problem….then that is a PBY issue with whatever method is being used to close out VPX.
Terry, I finally found a solution to my problem! And you won’t believe it, I just added a good old “Sub Table1_Exit():Controller.Stop:End Sub” to the Harry Potter script and now everything works perfectly! :)

Thanks for your reply. :) Well I swear I downloaded this file two days ago and it didn’t change a-ny-thing, but I downloaded it again after reading your message, replaced the one I already had (same size, 209 ko) and it’s magic… tadam, Harry Potter now close without any problem! Woot! Woot!
BUT NOW the puppacks for Transformers, Tron, Jaws and Master of Universe don’t work at all anymore… :P
I checked the task manager and no pinupdisplay nor pinuplayer when I play these tables…
It still works for Stranger Things and Leprechaun King however, can play and close perfectly. I’m lost.You need to login in order to like this post: click here

search script for Flips=0 and i think you need to change it to 1, 2, 0r 3 i dont remember but try 2 and see but you really need to figure out why its not working for you normally… maube try it in non exclusive mode? menu should be working so something is not right on your setup thats for sure
Well, just tried in non exclusive mode, doesn’t change anything. Really don’t know what is wrong. If I find something, I’ll tell you. Anyway I’m VERY happy to be able to play against the CPU. Thanks a lot, randr! :)

@lonchaney Menu is just key codes… maybe try the “left/right shift keys” on a keyboard and see if they work I may have messed up code and not set to flipper key but shift key only…don’t recall it’s been awhile since we did that table
I also tried with the keyboard, and nope, I have nothing… BTW thanks for your work too, randr! :)

I just loaded Joust up on 10.6 and the OSD worked fine. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work for you. Maybe someone else can chime in with some ideas.

Thanks for this great table. I love all Williams stuff. :) I have a problem however. I load the table, then hold left flipper button, but no OSD. Is it possible it doesn’t work properly with vpx 10.6?

First off thanks Scottywic for this amazing table and I’ve been enjoying this since downloading the beta last summer.
I’m having the same issue with the PUP pack not loading even after updating to the latest version 1.4.4. What is weird is if I open the beta the PUP pack loads just fine but on v0.50 it does not. Other table PUP packs seem to work too and right now i am launching straight from VPX and not a front end. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks.
