you are right… Terry has already done a lot of great things for the community… and is certainly also busy with some other things right now.
Regarding your question, I can only tell you from my point of view what I have done:
I changed some sounds based on Terry’s pack (I have a recording studio and the sound itself is very important to me) and adapted it for my hardware setup… and also adjusted some positioning. Then i roughly adapted (as good as possible for me) the last ZEN tables (release after the pack of Terry)… but only with the “default triggers” so that it works for me (and my sounds und my setup).
Nothing more… and this is what i shared.
Iam open to update in my version (Sounds / Position) tables from default triggers only to “full tables” (incl. adapt the sounds and position like the other tables) if you point some links and the author is ok with this?!
Maybe Terry also have some feedback about the latest ZEN tables related to triggers and an update?!
Greetings

this a really great table – Thank you!
I just got one problem: when i start -> no ball is comming & flippers don´t work.
VPX 10.6 full install (incl. VPinball99_PhysMod5 etc.) – all other tables work.
any idea where to look closer?

When done… upload the new completed PuP-Pack here in the forum if possible (or a link, etc). I will add them to the Completed PuP-Packs file.
Hi Terry… so here´s my file with all the sounds and settings.
fR33Styler-PUP-Pack_2020-03-22.zip
Attachment limit here is 48.83 MB… so i uploaded this to my G-drive
What i´ve done (i have a recording studio):
- Used different sounds
- adjusted room position (just R/L Flippers)
- pushed some frequency
- updated all packs
In detail:
Bumpers & Slingshots:
(red line = original, orange line = change)Nudge:
Flippers:
EQ adjustment Flippers:
Room (Flippers only):
For me (this is a personal feeling) this is a great experince in my Cab (with my setup of course e.g. 4 amps (2.1) with 4 bass pumps and 4 exciters (sepparate connected to one amp each) etc.).
Feel free to give it a try (in the case you dont like it… > just delete it :)
Have a good one and stay healthy

Thx for yor answer Terry.
I tried to use my buttons as “gamepad input” on pinscape… but had the same issue… then i found out:
if i press the buttons/keys “very very short (1 ms)” the triggers are “normal” (only once) – see green in the attachment.
if i press the buttons/keys “normal”, on the above mentioned tables the triggers come twice – see red:
So i have to ask DDH69 i think
Here´s the Thread i discuss with DDH69, feel free to join

Terry one question:
for some (of course FX3) tables which use the “FX3_PUP_SSF” default pack
e.g.
- Creature from the black lagoon
- Cirqus voltaire
- Champion pub
- Theatre for magic
- ..
also
- Mars
- …
i have a kind of “double played sound” (like a fast echo)… best to hear is pressing the flipper buttons (when fx_FlipperUP.wav is played) a little longer.
So my question is:
did you pay attention to something special, something specially adapted when you made a new/sepparate table (to prevent this)?
Because with the other tables it all sounds good.
If i can do something or if i can fix the problem, i would be happy

ah ok, got it.
So if the FX3_PUP_SSF works… iam happy… just wanted to ask if i may help you.
So i´ll focus on the sounds and work on this a little bit the next time
Thx Terry

I play currently a little bit with the sounds (frequency´s, compression, panorama etc.)… (i have a recording studio)… and when iam ready, i can share for testing (if there´s someone interested).
Another question before i proceed: some tables (in FX3_PUPlayer folder) are missing… e.g. 4 of 11 WMS tables (like WMSCirqusVoltaire, WMSMonsterBash etc.)
Where can i find them for my \FX3_PUPlayer folder and \PUPVideos folder (PUP Packs)?
Best regards

I found it….
with 10,1,-10 and -10,1,-10 it´s completely left and right in your version of the jurrasic world table when i:
set the sampling rate (fixed) to: 441, 16 bit (sorry for german screenshot but i think you know what i mean)
I tried this driver here
works
So exited to update my current rpi ambilight cab with pinscape, nudging, ssf, teensy etc.
(ill keep the undercab ambilight and use backglas as undercab MX – btw: i use your DOFLinx effect -> greeeeaaaat job man!)You need to login in order to like this post: click here
thx again.
This also doesn´t help (L -10,1,-10 & R 10,1,-10).
I also tried the soundblaster driver incl. settings and turned off everything.
And i tried to use stereo sound files (just recorded a table in stereo)Always triggering both sides…. hmmm?!?
Is there anything i can take a look on (config in the back, some settings somewhere)?
In PinUP Player Display i have: music -> Hide always (sound only)… but theres not really more to setup right?

Thank you so much for answering!!!
I tried:
onboard Sound (Asus) and a Creative X-FI 7.1 PCIe… » same issue
WIN10: nothing set (no room extentions, even “enhancements disabled: yes”)… just 7.1 without center & subwoofer.
In WIN10 during: sound settings -> configure -> test speakers —> it works (all speakers sound only by click them selves)
But still in PFX3 with PUPlayer & DOFLinx:
Push left flipper -> sound rear “left & right” together (but also nothing at front & side speakers)…
So iam close… but still “kind of mono”
any other ideas?
Try editing the pup-pack of the table you are trying.
Goto the SSF flipper triggers and try editing the Counter vaules. Those are the “3D position settings” for PUP SFF. they are in this format.
x,z,y
The range for X (left and right) is -10 (left), 0 (center), 10 (right)
z stays at 1
The range for Y (top and bottom) is 0 (top), -5 (center), -10 (bottom)
So try adjusting the left flipper to:
-10,1,-10
Right Flipper:
10,1,-10
Save the pup-pack. See if that works better at all.
If not… then it’s not a pup setting that is the problem.
If it does sound better…then you may need to adjust each pup-pack for more separation for your setup.
I get a little bit of spill over, but that is normal for the actual position of the flippers…. unless I choose to have the flippers at the extreme corner positions like I mention above.

Hey TerryRed this is so great man – thx!!!
I have 4 items of 2.1 amps use all for left side + subwoofer… so:
Soundcard rear right -> amp #1 -> shaker (Sub) & exiter (R) rear right (Flipperfinger R)
Soundcard rear left -> amp #2 -> shaker (Sub) & exiter (L) rear right (Flipperfinger L)
Soundcard side right -> amp #1 -> shaker (Sub) & exiter (R) side right
Soundcard side left -> amp #2 -> shaker (Sub) & exiter (L) side rightIt works in Windos very well.. (trigger the right speaker in sound-card test options).
But in FX3 + PinupPlayer -> always plays both sides, when i trigger a Flipperfinger:
trigger left flipper -> sounds on rear right & rear left
Any ideas to split this up (to left and right)?
Best regards
Ralf
