          Hi b4sti,

With opencomposite, is the 32bit dll from https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR and the ini file in the C:\Visual Pinball\ folder all that is needed?

I have downloaded your latest launcher and with the dll and ini file in the visual pinball folder , the launcher opens and just closes without launching in VR :-( . I have had to revert back to the default dll with the VPVR installer.) I wouldn’t be surprised if it an issue on my system.

With a request to add Work in Progress VR Room tables to your launcher, do I do that with a private message to you? (I am porting a few FSS tables to VR Room for personal use and it would be great if they are in the launcher :-) )

cheers and thanks for all your hard work and effort

What version of VPVR are you using?

            @rothbauerw
Did you extract all files from VPVR.zip or only the binary? I also updated the libraries a while ago (SDL, OpenVR…). And if a .dll file does not match the application will not start up at all.

Yes, I extracted all the files from the zip.  Any other ideas?

Uploaded the latest VPVR, VPVR64, VPVR 10.7, and VPVR64 10.7.

Which repo is the 10.6 from?

I’ll need @caligulax to answer that.  I’m having difficulty getting the VPVR 2021-03-15 build to run.  Others have tested and said it runs for them.  The editor doesn’t even pull up for me.

@rothbauerw Can you update to the latest build from https://sourceforge.net/projects/vpvr/files/ – The vpvr.zip contains all fixes from DJRobX and Rawnei and also some new tweaks.

Yes, I’ll check it out and add it in the next day or so.

Sad that auto update had to be removed but understand the challenges people were having.

Please add Fireball and Bounty Hunter to the games list when you have a chance.  Love the frontend and greatly appreciate your work!

There is a new version here that also has this VR room as an option.

I haven’t tried but is it possible to turn off VR in the settings and play on a normal cab? Would like to try the new physics but not a VR guy…

Short answer. Yes.  You don’t really need to even turn off the VR room.

Is this the same build as https://sourceforge.net/p/vpvr/wiki/Getting%20started/

                                Or is that something different??

                                Thank you

Same thing. There may be some minor differences, but it’s based on the same code base.

No problems here with the gear enginge; starts only the first 2 or 3 seconds after table has been startet end ends then. strange behavior with your setup.

You´re up to date with your vpinmane install?

yep, up to date, and the Bigus version of the table doesn’t keep the gear motor on.

(also Dracula docent even move, so there is definitely something weird going on)

But changing the code fixed it for me, and Dracula is moving again to reallign himself to the starting point.

Please try updating to the attached code and see if it fixes your issue.

Has anyone started making alternate packages for other makes of pinball like ones suited to Data East machines etc.? I am looking to adapt this into a DE package but if this is underway already I will reach out and offer any help, if not is this okay to take this package and alter?

Feel free to alter to your liking.

This is an update to the 10.6 version of VPVR.  To my knowledge, the 10.7 version is not yet stable.
