August 26, 2019 at 5:21 am #143301Thanks so much for the physics update. I have always loved this VPX. Thank you so much for making it available. Question. Is this version the classic flashers or modulated? In 1.3 there were different versions for each. Wondered what you did for this version. Thanks as always for your fantastic tables Dark and team. It’s so nice to have this one to play. Who doesn’t love Gilligan. Takes me back….
The physics update was applied to classic flashers version.

It was rothbauerw who did all the physics updates, I just provided new models to help make it happen (kicker saucer and VUK saucer).

Try seeing if deleting nvram file helps and let it generate a new one.

September 1, 2019 at 10:15 pm #143846Great table, thanks for the update. However, the pop bumpers don’t work for me… is this normal?

September 2, 2019 at 8:02 am #143882i didn’t get a chance to come back and say the pinball missing error is gone after a couple of resets.

Deleting the NVRAM fixed the pop bumpers… after that, I also got the “Pinball missing” problem, but a few resets and restarting VP seems to have fixed that as well.

May 18, 2020 at 6:28 pm #181047Have a question. This table is graphically superior to the older FS one I have on my cab, physics too, but on my cabinet it doesn’t display full screen. There’s a gap at the bottom of the apron and probably a couple inches of space at the top edge of the table. Any ideas how to fix this? I tried manually adjusting the size in VP, but that threw all the decals out of whack on the playfield, and it still didn’t fill the screen.
Any help appreciated!

May 18, 2020 at 11:21 pm #181083That’s the new one…
And this is the old VP9 version (Playfield is sharper on this one too. Wierd…)
Significantly less space around the old one. Thoughts?
This is the only FS table I have that has this oddly spaced trapezoid aspect ratio.

May 18, 2020 at 11:52 pm #181090@rook3 this is simply a matter of camera point-of-view (POV) adjustment in the VPX editor. You can adjust any VPX table POV to your liking by following this tutorial: https://vpinball.com/vpx-cameralight-mode-tutorial/
For this particular table you can try these settings:
